Ilias Kobra (born 20 January 1961) is a Bangladeshi film actor. In the films he usually plays the supporting negative role. He made his acting debut in the 1987 film Maruk Shah directed by Masood Parvez (Sohel Rana). In a career spanning more than two decades, Elias Cobra has acted in more than 500 films. [1] [2]

Elias Cobra was born on January 20, 1961, in Baharchhara, Teknaf.[ citation needed ]

Career

Elias Cobra made his acting debut in Masood Parvez's (Sohel Rana) film Maruk Shah in 1986. Danny Sidak also played a villain with him at the time. Before coming to the movies, Elias Cobra ran a martial arts school. He has mostly worked in martial arts movies. [3] He came from Burma to learn martial arts. He has acted in many films as a worthy rival to the kung fu hero Rubel [4] So far he has acted in more than five hundred movies [5] and Ratan Talukder.

Elias Cobra won the 2000 Shilpi Samiti election for the post of Sports-Cultural Secretary. [6] [7] [8]

O Priya Tumi Kothay is a 2002 Bangladeshi romantic action film. The film was directed by Shahadat Hossain Liton and written and produced by Shahidul Islam Shahid under the banner of Abhinondon Cholochitro. It features Shakib Khan, Riaz, Shabnur in the lead roles. Also Misha Sawdagor, Wasimul Bari Rajib, Rehana Jolly and Afzal Sharif played supporting roles.

The disappearance of Ilias Ali is a high-profile incident in Bangladesh that took place in 2012. Ilias Ali, a former Member of Parliament and the organising secretary of the then-main opposition party Bangladesh Nationalist Party. He along with his driver Ansar Ali, was reportedly abducted from Banani neighbourhood, Dhaka, by individuals claiming to be from law enforcement agencies. In the following days, at least five of his party men died and many were injured as they observed strikes and demonstration programmes in protest of his disappearance. The incident got much media coverage.
