Ilyas Osman Lugator (Somali :Ilyaas Cismaan Lugatoor) or Hussein Isman Lugator (Somali :Xuseen Cismaan Lugatoor) is the vice president of Puntland since January 2024. His nickname is Gabilay. [2]
Ilyas Osman Lugator was born in October 1967 [3] Bo'ame,Sool. [4] He is from the Xasan Ughaz branch of the Dhulbahante clan. [2]
In February 2019 Lugator was appointed Minister of Aviation and Airports. [2]
In March 2019,Lugator visited Bo'ame as part of the Puntland delegation. [5]
In June 2019,Lugator accompanied President Puntland on a visit to China. [6]
In July 2019,Lugator appointed a Badhan airport director. [7]
