Kaah Political Association (Somali : Urur Siyaasadeedka Kaah) is the ruling political party in Puntland.
On 21 May 2020, President of Puntland Said Abdullahi Dani joined the party. [1] [2] [3]
On 15 July 2020, the members of Federal Government of Somalia has met with Said Deni at the party's headquarters in Mogadishu. [4]
On 18 July 2020, a party conference was held, where Said Dani was elected its chairman. [5] [6] The Central Committee has also elected Ahmed Elmi Osman Karaash as the 1st Vice Chairman of Kaah. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abdirashid Yusuf Jibril Awl was also elected as the 2nd Vice Chairman of Kaah. [7]

Ahmed Abdi Mohamud Sugulle "Habsade" is a Puntland and Somaliland politician. He was a decorated Colonel in the Somali Armed Forces and the second in command of the Somali Custodial Corps equivalent to that of the Italian Arma dei Carabinieri but the Custodial Corps fall under the Ministry of the Interior and are part of the Police Force. A politician and respected elder later in life (he was instrumental in the founding of Somaliland and became the Speaker of the Somaliland House of Representatives. In 2014, Abdiweli Gaas became President of Puntland and he come back to Puntland.
Horseed is a political party based in Puntland, It was announced in Bosaso on 5 December 2012 and was one of the associations registered to partake municipal and presidential elections of puntland scheduled to be held in 2013
Ilyas Osman Lugator or Hussein Isman Lugator is the vice president of Puntland since January 2024. His nickname is Gabilay.
Abdirizak Ahmed Said is a Member of Parliament serving as the 10th speaker of Puntland House of Representatives since January 02, 2024 and previously served as chairman of the Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission He currently holds the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Puntland.
