laut.de editor Jeremias Heppeler rated the album two stars out of five. He found that "nothing sticks with Immer noch Mensch. Really nothing. Niente. This record knows no changes of tempo, no moments of surprise and, with very few exceptions, it bobs along in a soporific manner. There is no question that it will find its audience." [4] Deutsche Presse-Agentur wrote: "With the new album Bendzko continues his path. And yet dares to try new things. For the first time he is a songwriter, musician and producer at the same time. When he played the new songs for the first time, he shed a few beads of sweat. The singer also tries his hand at music, eschewing electronic beats and opting for something handmade. The result is a classic Bendzko: warm German pop without a false bottom." [5]
Immer noch Mensch became Bendzko's second consecutive studio album to debut at number one on the German Albums Chart. [6] In 2017, it was eventually certified Gold by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) for sales in excess of 100,000 copies. [6]

Wir sind Helden was a German pop rock band that was established in 2000 in Hamburg and based in Berlin. The band was composed of lead singer and guitarist Judith Holofernes, drummer Pola Roy, bassist Mark Tavassol and keyboardist/guitarist Jean-Michel Tourette.
Now... Us! is the second studio album by German girl group No Angels. It was released by Polydor–Zeitgeist and Cheyenne Records on June 24, 2002, in German-speaking Europe. Recorded after the release of the band's majorly successful debut album Elle'ments (2001) and its accompanying Rivers of Joy Tour, the group consulted work by frequent collaborators Thorsten Brötzmann, Peter Ries, and Leslie Mándoki as well as international songwriters and producers such as Anders Bagge, Figge Boström, Dennis Dowlut, Mousse T., Pontus Söderqvist, and Quiz & Larossi, while taking a wider role in contributing own lyrics and melodies to the album.
Mensch, released in August 2002, is the 20th studio album by German rock/pop artist Herbert Grönemeyer. Mensch ("Human") is Grönemeyer's 11th full-length album of original compositions. It is the most successful German-language album to date.
Naughty but Nice is the fourth studio album by German singer Sarah Connor. It was released by X-Cell and Epic Records on 21 March 2005 in German-speaking Europe. As with her previous projects, Connor consulted production and songwriting duo Rob Tyger and Kay Denar to work with her on the album, with frequent collaborator Bülent Aris also returning following his absence on Key to My Soul (2003). Strictly Physical is the second studio album by all-female German pop trio Monrose. It was released by Starwatch Music in association with Cheyenne Records and Warner Music on 21 September 2007 in German-speaking Europe and on 8 October 2007 in parts of Eastern Europe. Released only nine months after its best-selling predecessor Temptation (2006), the album took Monrose's work further into dance and electro music, featuring main production by Danish producers Remee, Thomas Troelsen, and Peter Biker, as well as British composers from production collectives Jiant, and Snowflakers.
Jazz ist anders is the eleventh full-length studio album by German rock band Die Ärzte. It was released on 2 November 2007. The album has a bonus-EP with three songs about the band and a hidden track. This is the first album after Debil that Die Ärzte produced alone. The cover is a reference to the most consumed food during their studio sessions: pizza. The whole packaging looks like a pizza box; the CD itself has a picture of a pizza on it and the bonus EP on their website is accessible using a code printed on paper in the shape of a green pepper. The EP looks like a tomato slice. The album has been criticized for not being as funny as one would expect from Die Ärzte, although it was very warmly received by fans.

Wenn Worte meine Sprache wären is the debut album by German recording artist Tim Bendzko. It was released by Sony Music Columbia on 17 June 2011 in German-speaking Europe. Bendzko worked with music producer Swen Meyer on most of the album which features material that was either written or co-written by himself. Its music incorporates a range of the contemporary rock, folk, and pop music genres with a mix of slow ballads and jazzy uptempo tracks.

Bendzko re-teamed with frequent collaborator music producer Swen Meyer to work on the album and also consulted Christian "Crada" Kalla to provide additional production on the songs. Am seidenen Faden debuted and peaked at number one on the German Albums Chart, becoming Bendzko's first album to do so, and was certified 2× Platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) for sales in excess of 400,000 copies.

Helene Fischer is the eighth studio album by German singer Helene Fischer. It was released on 12 May 2017 by Polydor. The album debuted at number-one on the Austrian, German, and Swiss Albums Chart and reached the top ten in the Netherlands and the Flemish region of Belgium. In Germany, Helene Fischer sold more than 300,000 copies in its first week of release, making it the highest-selling debut since Herbert Grönemeyer's 2002 album Mensch.

Monument is the seventh studio album by German rapper Kollegah, released on 7 December 2018 through his own label Alpha Music Empire. The album is Kollegah's first solo album since 2016's Imperator. The double album also included his tenth mixtape Hoodtape Volume 3.
Filter is the fourth studio album by German recording artist Tim Bendzko. It was released by Jive Records on 18 October 2019, following his transition from Columbia Records after the release of his previous album Immer noch Mensch (2016). Bendzko worked producers Timothy Auld and Benedikt Schöller on Filter which debuted and peaked at number three on the German Albums Chart in 2019.
