Early life

Khan was born in Mumbai. Khan graduated from Mithibai College with a degree in commerce. He has been working in the film and television industry for 25 years.

Career

Film

Khan's first film as an actor was 1991's Inteha Pyar Ki starring Rishi Kapoor and Ruksar. He then worked in movies such as Sangam Hoke Rahega in 1994, Karamveer, Mohabbaton ka Safar in 1995, Kismat , Big Brother , Heroine , Sooryavansham , Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi , Hawa , Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and 23rd March 1931: Shaheed .

Television

His first appearance in a TV series was Tara . This was followed by Dastaan, Parampara, Ajnabi, Nagin, Chandni, Aashirwad , Astitwa, Ammaji Ki Gali, Jiny and Jeeju, and I Love My India.

Imran Khan Productions has produced television films and TV serials such as Haya for Ary digital, and Nakhuda for Zee.

Sargoshiyan is a 2017 Indian drama film directed and produced by Imran Khan under his banner Imran Khans Production. The film is completely shot in Kashmir and explores the never seen before breath taking places. The film was released on 26 May 2017 by Dimension Pictures. It received Mixed Reviews from Critics.

Anwar Sagar was an Indian Hindustani poet and lyricist. He penned hundreds of songs in Bollywood films and churned put numerous hit songs such as "Waada Raha Sanam", "Yeh Dua Hai Mere Rab Se", "Dil Ka Kya Kasoor", "Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin", "Mera Piya Ghar Aaya", "Rahon Mein Unse" etc. He has written 225 songs in 86 Hindi films. He was nominated for Filmfare Award for Best Lyrics in 1992 for the title track of Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin. His is most remembered for songs in Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahin (1991), Khiladi (1992), Baazigar (1993), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Yaarana (1995) etc.
