Hindi cinema, popularly known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema, refers to the film industry based in Mumbai, engaged in production of motion pictures in Hindi language. The popular term Bollywood, is a portmanteau of "Bombay" and "Hollywood". The industry is a part of the larger Indian cinema, which also includes South Indian cinema and other smaller film industries.
Mohammed Aamir Hussain Khan is an Indian actor who works in Hindi films. Referred to in the media as "Mr. Perfectionist", through his career spanning over 30 years, Khan has established himself as one of the most notable actors of Indian cinema. Khan is the recipient of numerous awards, including nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, and an AACTA Award, with one of his film productions also receiving an Academy Award nomination. Andaz Apna Apna is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha. It stars Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karishma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Shakti Kapoor in lead roles. The film was released on 4 November 1994 and the plot elements of the film were later used in other language films such as Ullathai Allitha (1996), Veedevadandi Babu (1997) and Galate Aliyandru (2000), though none being a frame-to-frame remake. Although the film was a semi-hit at the box office, the film has emerged as a cult film over the years. The lexicon of the film has become part of everyday and ordinary language. The climax of this film is a rehashed version of the climax of a 1972 film Victoria No. 203.
Raveena Tandon is an Indian actress known for her work in Hindi films. She is a recipient of several awards, including a National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards and a Filmfare OTT Award. In 2023, she was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian honour.
Main Hoon Na is a 2004 Hindi-language masala film directed by Farah Khan in her directorial debut. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sunil Shetty, Amrita Rao and Zayed Khan. Govind Arun Ahuja is an Indian actor, comedian, dancer, and former politician, who has appeared in more than 165 Hindi-language film and established himself one of most popular actors in India. Govinda is known for his slapstick performances and dancing skills. He has received 12 Filmfare Award nominations and won two Filmfare Special Awards and a Filmfare Award for Best Comedian. In June 1999, he was voted the tenth-greatest star of stage or screen in last thousand years by BBC News Online poll.
Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, also known by the initialism QSQT, is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language romantic musical film, directed by Mansoor Khan, written and produced by Nasir Hussain, and starring Aamir Khan along with Juhi Chawla in lead roles. The film was released on 29 April 1988 to widespread critical acclaim, and was a major commercial success at the box office, turning Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla into superstars.

Salim–Javed were an Indian screenwriting duo, composed of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar, working in Bollywood. They are noted for being among the first Indian screenwriters to achieve star status, becoming one of the most successful Indian screenwriters of all time. They are regarded as among "Hindi cinema's greatest screenwriters". They worked together on 24 films during 1971–1987, of which twenty were commercially and critically successful films. They worked together on 22 Bollywood films, as well as two Kannada films.
Padosan is a 1968 Indian Hindi-language musical comedy film directed by Jyoti Swaroop and produced by Mehmood, N. C. Sippy and written by Rajendra Krishan. It is a remake of the Bengali-language film Pasher Bari (1952) based on a short story of the same name by Arun Chowdhury starring Bhanu Bandyopadhyay and Sabitri Chatterjee. The film stars Sunil Dutt and Saira Banu. Kishore Kumar, Mukri, Raj Kishore and Keshto Mukherjee played the supporting roles. Mehmood as the South Indian musician and rival to Sunil Dutt is among the highlights of the film. Indiatimes Movies ranked the film amongst the "Top 25 Must See Bollywood Films". Music was composed by R. D. Burman. Kumar sang for himself while Manna Dey sang for Mehmood. Many of the scenes were shot in Brindavan Gardens located near the city of Mysore.

The supporting cast includes Shakti Kapoor, Gulshan Grover, Kader Khan, Ajit, Tanuja and Ram Mohan.
Stumped is a 2003 Bollywood sport/drama film written and directed by Gaurav Pandey and produced by Raveena Tandon. This film is a debut for Raveena as producer. Cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar and actor Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in the film.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Kabir Khan, based on an original story by screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, and produced by Salman Khan, Rockline Venkatesh and Kabir Khan. Fraud Saiyaan is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language romantic dark comedy drama film directed by Sourabh Shrivastava and produced by Prakash Jha, Disha Jha and Kanishk Gangwal. The film stars Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Sara Loren, and features Deepali Pansare, Flora Saini and Nivedita Tiwari in supporting roles. Filming locations included Obedullaganj, Raisen, Bhopal and Mumbai. The soundtrack was composed by Sohail Sen, while Udai Prakash Singh handled the art direction. The film was released worldwide on 18 January 2019.
Hindi Medium is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language comedy-drama film written and directed by Saket Chaudhary, and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Bhushan Kumar under their respective banners Maddock Films and T-Series. It stars Irrfan Khan, Saba Qamar, Dishita Sehgal, Deepak Dobriyal and Amrita Singh. Set in Delhi, the plot centres on a couple's struggle to get their daughter admitted to a prestigious English-medium school in order to rise in society.
Hanuman: Da’ Damdaar is a 2017 Indian mythological-adventure animated film, directed by Ruchi Narain, presented by RNB Films in association with R.A.T Films. It is a story of a boy, Hanuman set in 'mythological' times. The concept of the film is for children to have fun and learn something. Salman Khan unveiled the motion poster of the film on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti on 11 April 2017. The film was released on 2 June 2017.
