In Her Own Words released their first EP in 2011 titled Brand New Me. [2] In 2013, the band released their first full-length album on Ice Grill$ titled Everything I Used To Trust. [3] [4] In 2016, In Her Own Words signed to InVogue Records and released their second full-length album titled Unfamiliar. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9] Currently, In Her Own Words is signed to Thriller Records and have released their third full-length studio album Distance Or Decay.

After leaving X-Ray Spex, Logic founded her own band, Essential Logic, which released one full-length album in 1979. Logic has been called "one of post-punk's most notable atypical girls."

She released her first extended play, As If!, in 2011, which combined elements of electropop and dance music. Ferreira's second EP, Ghost (2012), however, incorporated pop with more stripped-down song structures and featured collaborations with Jon Brion and Shirley Manson, as well as the critically acclaimed track "Everything Is Embarrassing", which she composed with Dev Hynes.

Their name originates from a paper that Campbell read that was written by one of his after-school educators titled "The Wonder Years."

InVogue Records is an American record company based in Findlay, Ohio. It was founded by Nick Moore, lead singer of Before Their Eyes, in 2009. In the fall of 2011 InVogue Records signed a distribution deal with Independent Label Group and Alternative Distribution Alliance. In the summer of 2017 InVogue signed a new distribution deal with Sony/RED. The deal was merged into The Orchard/Sony.

Thriller Records is an American independent record label that was founded in 2021 by Bob Becker, founder of Fearless Records and Nick Moore, former singer of the band Before Their Eyes and founder of InVogue Records. The label initially had a global distribution agreement with ADA Music Worldwide, a subsidiary of Warner Music Group, but would later sign with The Orchard, a subsidiary of Sony Music.
