In This Life is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Elise Testone, released on February 16, 2014 through Red Tambo Records. [1] The album features backing vocals by Erika Van Pelt. [2]

The eleventh season of American Idol premiered on Fox on January 18, 2012. The show aired on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c. Ryan Seacrest returned as host, while Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler, and Jennifer Lopez all returned as judges. Interscope Records Chairman Jimmy Iovine, a songwriter and producer, also returned as an in-house mentor to work with the contestants on a weekly basis. This season followed the same format as season 10. Tyler and Lopez announced that they would be leaving the show two months after the finale. Lopez later returned as a judge for the show's thirteenth season.

It includes a duet with Elise Testone, his coronation song, "Home" and performances that were well received by the judges on the show. Similar EPs were also released through Walmart by fellow contestants from the Top 5, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh and Skylar Laine. As of September 2012, it has sold 82,000 copies.

Ranky Tanky is an American musical ensemble based in Charleston, South Carolina, United States. It specializes in jazz-influenced arrangements of traditional Gullah music, a culture that originated among descendants of enslaved Africans in the Lowcountry region of the US Southeast. Apart from lead vocalist, Quiana Parler, four of the group's members, Quentin Baxter, Kevin Hamilton, Clay Ross, and Charlton Singleton, previously played together in the Charleston jazz quartet The Gradual Lean in the late 1990s.
