Incheon Sungui Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Incheon, South Korea. It was formerly used mostly for football matches, and was the home of National League side Incheon Korail. The stadium had a capacity of 35,000 people, with 25,000 seats and 10,000 standing area. It was built in 1920 and was demolished on June 13, 2008 to make space for the Incheon Football Stadium.

2014 Asian Para Games

The 2014 Asian Para Games, also known as the 2nd Asian Para Games, was an Asian disabled multi-sport event held in Incheon, South Korea, from 18 to 24 October 2014, 2 weeks after the end of the 2014 Asian Games. This was the first time South Korea hosted the games. Around 4,500 athletes from 41 countries competed in the games which featured 443 events in 23 sports. The games was opened by the Prime Minister Chung Hong-won at the Incheon Munhak Stadium. The final medal tally was led by China, followed by host South Korea and Japan, while Kazakhstan, Myanmar, Singapore, Syria and Qatar won their first ever Asian Para Games gold medal. 24 world and 121 Asian records were broken during the Games.

Dowon station

Geomam station

Geomam station is a railway station on AREX and Incheon Subway Line 2. Since June 2014, the KTX train operates from Incheon International Airport to Busan or Mokpo. It has stopped operating KTX since March 2018. In September 2018, Korail officially announced that they would stop operating KTX to Incheon International Airport due to lack of passenger use. This was the first KTX station after Incheon Airport. Before KTX started to run on AREX, all platforms were high-leveled with screen doors. The KTX started to run, they took away the platform screen doors only at the both end of the side horizontally and turned into low-leveled platform without screen doors.

Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 station

Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 Station is a railway station on AREX and Incheon Airport Maglev. It is in Incheon International Airport's transport center and currently the terminus. Since June 2014, KTX operated from this station with stops at Geomam Station and Seoul Station towards Busan and Gwangju. Before the KTX opened services at this station, there was high-leveled platform which had no use. Since this time, only this platform didn't have platform screen doors because there was a plan for a 2nd airport railroad to go there, but this plan changed to KTX. After that, KTX started to run, they have changed the empty platform to a low leveled-platform to make KTX rideable. In the same year, KTX expanded service to Incheon Airport. Since 2018, KTX service to Incheon Airport has been suspended despite signage in both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 saying otherwise. The suspension became permanent in September 2018 as the line was officially abolished. Travelling to cities other than Seoul via rail is now only available after a transfer at Seoul Station via the AREX. In 2019, the KTX service was temporally operative again with 3 daily services to Gwangju, because of the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. The service started on July 9, and finished on July 29.
