Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, formerly Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, is an agricultural university at Dapoli in Ratnagiri district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was established on 18 May 1972 as Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, and got its present name on 12 February 2001 in memory of third Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri. P. K. Sawant. Its research centre at Karjat has developed some patented varieties of rice. Its major focus areas are rice, horticulture and fisheries. In 1997, it received the Best Institute Award of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. Dr. SD Sawant is the 14th Vice Chancellor of this University, he was appointed by Chancellor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao on 7 March 2019.

Junagadh Agricultural University

Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU) is an agricultural university at Junagadh in the Indian state of Gujarat. Junagadh Agricultural University offers education in agriculture and allied sciences, i.e., agriculture, agricultural engineering and fisheries. The teaching in the university consists of four faculties: agriculture, agricultural engineering, fisheries and postgraduate studies. The graduate programmes have an intake capacity of 135 in agriculture, 70 in agricultural engineering and 30 in fisheries faculty. The postgraduate level studies are offered in agriculture and agricultural engineering according to the intake capacity of the various faculties.

West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Veterinary & Animal Science University in Kolkata, West bengal

The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) was established on 2 January 1995 by a Legislative Act. Before this, veterinary education in the state was imparted by Bengal Veterinary College, a premier institution of the country which was established in 1893. It was the second oldest veterinary college in the country and the college was expanded, enriched and functioned under the University of Calcutta until 1974. In 1974, the college was merged with Bidhan Chandra Krishi Vishwavidyalaya in Mohanpur, district Nadia, as the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences.

Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali Uttarakhand University of Horticulture & Forestry, formerly Uttarakhand University of Horticulture and Forestry (UUHF), is a state agricultural university located in North Indian state of Uttarakhand. The University has two campuses, one is in Bharsar town of Pauri Garhwal district and other is in Ranichauri town of Tehri Garhwal district.
