The radio show featured call-in discussions four nights a week throughout Donald Trump's first one hundred days as President of the United States. [2] [3] Charlie Sykes, the conservative host, would host the show on Wednesday nights. [4] [5] Kai Wright discussed topics that built on the themes established in The United States of Anxiety. [6] Kerri Miller hosts the show on Thursday nights to discuss American identity. [7] Similar shows include Code Switch , Pod Save the World , and Slate Political Gabfest . [8]

It began as a collaborative project between San Francisco public radio station KALW and the American Institute of Architects in San Francisco. The show has been distributed by PRX for broadcasting on a number of radio stations and as a podcast on the Radiotopia network. On April 28, 2021, Roman Mars announced in an introduction of a re-released episode that 99% Invisible had been purchased by Sirius XM and marketed as part of its Stitcher Radio brand.

Indivisible is a progressive movement and organization in the United States initiated in 2016 as a reaction to the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States. The movement began with the online publication of a handbook written by Congressional staffers with suggestions for peacefully but effectively resisting the move to the right in the executive branch of the United States government under the Trump administration that was widely anticipated and feared by progressives. According to Peter Dreier, the goal of Indivisible is to "save American democracy" and "resume the project of creating a humane America that is more like social democracy than corporate plutocracy."

Before entering politics and ultimately becoming the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump pursued a career as a celebrity. He released several ghostwritten books, most prominently The Art of the Deal (1987). Starting in the 1990s, he was a regular guest on the Howard Stern Show and other talk shows, joined the professional wrestling company World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment, and made several cameo film and TV appearances. From 2004 to 2015, Trump hosted The Apprentice, a reality show on NBC in which contestants competed on business-related tasks. He later co-hosted The Celebrity Apprentice, in which celebrities competed to win money for charities.
