Indranil Manohar Naik is a leader of Nationalist Congress Party and a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elected from Pusad Assembly constituency. He is nephew of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Sudhakarrao Naik and he is grandson of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Vasantrao Naik. [1]

He had given the new shape to the Panchayat Raj, started the continuous election process in Panchayat Raj systems all over the state, as desired by the former Prime Minister Rajeev Gandhi, decentralisation of power and faster decision making process being motive of bringing back the Panchayat Raj in full-fledged functioning. Manohar Rajusingh Naik is an Indian politician of the Nationalist Congress Party in the state of Maharashtra. The Naik family has not lost the Pusad Seat since 1952.

Apart from government,political families also control cooperative institutions, mainly cooperative sugar factories,district cooperative banks in the state, and since the 1980s private for profit colleges. The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party also features several senior leaders who are dynasts. In Maharashtra, the NCP has particularly high level of dynasticism.
