Indus World School

Indus World School (IWS) is a chain of coeducational, K-12 schools run by the Nalanda Foundation. The first school was started in 2005 at Hyderabad, India and the second one in 2006 at Indore. There were 11 schools as of 2010. New Indus World Schools are expected to open at Hassan in Karnataka, Dharuhera in Haryana and a second school at Hyderabad. [1]

The Indus World School was established by IIT and IIM alumni R. Satya Narayanan, Gautam Puri, Sujit Bhattacharyya, R. Srinivasan, D. Vijay Kumar and Shiv Kumar.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is an international airport that serves Hyderabad, the capital of the Indian state of Telangana. Hyderabad Metro Rapid transit system in Hyderabad, India

The Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system, serving the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is the second longest operational metro network in India after the Delhi Metro with 57 stations and the lines are arranged in a secant model. It is funded by a public–private partnership (PPP), with the state government holding a minority equity stake. A special purpose vehicle company, L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd (L&TMRHL), was established by the construction company L&T to develop the Hyderabad metro rail project. A 30-kilometre (19 mi) stretch from Miyapur to Nagole, with 24 stations, was inaugurated on 28 November 2017 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This was the longest rapid transit metro line opened in one go in India. It is estimated to cost 18,800 crore (US$2.6 billion). As of February 2020, about 490,000 people use the Metro per day. Trains are crowded during the morning and evening rush hours. A ladies only coach was introduced on all the trains from 7 May 2018.

Deccan Chargers

The Deccan Chargers was a franchise cricket team based in the city of Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. The team was one of the eight founding members of the IPL in 2008 and was owned by Deccan Chronicle Holdings Ltd. After finishing last in the first season of the IPL, they won the second season held in South Africa in 2009 under the captaincy of former Australian wicket-keeper and batsman Adam Gilchrist. Gilchrist was the captain of the team for the first three seasons of the IPL & Rohit Sharma as his Deputy. From the fourth season, Kumar Sangakkara led the team and Cameron White played as his deputy. The team was coached by Darren Lehmann, former Australian cricketer.

It is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India.The association was founded in 1934 and has been affiliated to the BCCI ever since.
