Inge Bartnes (born 24 January 1970) is a Norwegian politician for the Centre Party.
The Centre Party is an agrarian centrist political party in Norway. Founded in 1920 as a Nordic agrarian party, the Centre Party's policy is not based on any of the major ideologies of the 19th and 20th century, but has a focus on maintaining decentralised economic development and political decision-making.
He is a grandson of Inge Einarsen Bartnes, son of Erik Bartnes and brother of Lars Erik Bartnes. [1]

He served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Nord-Trøndelag during the term 1997–2001. During Bondevik's First Cabinet Bartnes worked as a political advisor in the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development. When Stoltenberg's Second Cabinet assumed office following the 2005 elections, Bartnes was appointed State Secretary in the same Ministry. He resigned in September 2007. [2] He was instead hired as director of communications in Nord-Trøndelag Elektrisitetsverk. [1]
Nord-Trøndelag was a county constituting the northern part of the present-day Trøndelag county in Norway. The county was established in 1804 when the old Trondhjems amt was divided into two: Nordre Trondhjems amt and Søndre Trondhjems amt. Bartnes Church is a chapel of the Church of Norway in Steinkjer municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Bartnes. It is an annex chapel for the Beitstad parish which is part of the Nord-Innherad prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white and red, brick church was built in a long church style in 1960 by the architect John Aasum. The church seats about 100 people. The church was consecrated on 31 July 1960 by the bishop Arne Fjellbu.
