Inheritance is an upcoming Sky original British television series directed by Storm Saulter, written by Karla Crome and starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jonny Lee Miller.

The five-part series is written by Karla Crome from an original idea by Jefferson Bannis, and directed by Storm Saulter. It is produced by Snowed-In Productions, in association with Sky Studios. Executive Producers are Ruth Kenley-Letts, Jenny van der Lande, Neil Blair, Karla Crome, Storm Saulter, Sam Hoyle, Serena Thompson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jonny Lee Miller. Series producer is Kate Ogborn. [2]
Mbatha-Raw and Miller lead the cast as well as being executive producers. The cast also includes Bel Powley and Sheldon Shepherd. [3]
The series is set in Bristol and Jamaica. [4] Filming began in December 2024 with filming locations including Bristol in the United Kingdom and Jamaica. [5] [6]

Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha-Raw is an English actress. She began acting at the National Youth Music Theatre and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and gained acclaim for her roles as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet and Octavia in Anthony and Cleopatra in 2005 at the Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester. She made her West End and Broadway debut portraying Ophelia in Hamlet in 2009. For her role as the titular character in Jessica Swale's 2015 play Nell Gwynn, she received an Evening Standard Theatre Award for Best Actress nomination.
Isobel Dorothy Powley Booth is an English actress. Born and raised in London, Powley was educated at Holland Park School. She began acting as a teenager on television, starring on the CBBC action television series M.I. High (2007–2008).
