Sky Studios Elstree

In December 2019, Sky announced plans to develop Sky Studios Elstree. [13] The facility is being built at Rowley Lane, Borehamwood, located close to the existing Elstree Studios. The new studios are expected to open in 2022, and will provide production space for Sky's original content as well as film and TV productions from NBCUniversal, which is owned by Sky's parent company Comcast. [14]

It is expected that the facility will have 14 stages, with the smallest being approximately 1,800 m2 (19,000 sq ft). [15] The site is also expected to house post-production facilities and an on-site screening cinema. [16]
