Sky Uno (English: Sky One ) is an Italian entertainment television channel, based on the defunct reality television channel SKY Vivo, both owned and operated by Sky Italia.

Contents

It broadcasts Italian dubs of the shows The X Factor , Got Talent , The Apprentice , MasterChef , MasterChef Junior , Hell's Kitchen and Top Gear .

The channel began broadcasting in high-definition on 20 October 2011.

Francesco Facchinetti hosted the show's first four seasons before being replaced by Alessandro Cattelan for Season 5 up to Season 14 before being replaced by Ludovico Tersigni for one season. While the first four seasons were aired on Rai Due, the second channel of Italian public television service, at the moment the show is broadcast on Sky Uno, the main channel of Sky Italy.

Italia's Got Talent is the Italian version of the international Got Talent series. The pilot episode was aired on 12 December 2009 on Canale 5 and it was seen by 5.3 million people. After this episode, Mediaset decided to hold on this show with a full-length season. The first season started on 12 April 2010 with high ratings and continued broadcasting. The seventh season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from May 14 to September 13, 2012. After the previous season, Piers Morgan left the program due to other commitments; he was replaced by the producers with Howard Stern. However, this change involved moving the venue for the live rounds of the competition from Los Angeles to Newark, New Jersey, which increased the size of the audience that attended each live episode. Along with a visual makeover of the program to improve its presentation on television, a planned break was included with the broadcast schedule between July 24 and August 14, to avoid clashing with the network's live coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics.

It was the first season to be broadcast on a digital satellite television platform, after four seasons televised on state owned channel Rai 2. For the first time, the final was also broadcast in 3D.

"Due respiri" is a song written by Eros Ramazzotti, Luca Chiaravalli and Saverio Grandi and recorded by Italian singer Chiara Galiazzo. The song was released as Chiara's debut single on 8 December 2012, immediately after she won the sixth series of talent show X Factor.
