Sky 3D was a television channel of Sky Deutschland that lasted from 2010 to 2017. It only broadcast 3D content. [1]

History

Sky 3D launched on 13 October 2010 via Astra 19.2°E and cable operator Kabel BW in regular operation, prior to a test broadcast. The transmitter was free for all customers for 3 months. Since then, the was made available free of charge.[ clarification needed ] The broadcasting time was usually between 11 and midnight, while in the broadcast-free time, trailers were shown. From summer 2013, a one-time activation fee of €29.90 was required to access the channel. Sky 3D was discontinued on 1 July 2017 due to its low ratings. [2]

kabel eins Television channel

Kabel Eins, is a German free-to-air television channel that was launched on 29 February 1992 as Der Kabelkanal. It is owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media AG. It is largely known for airing classic American films as well as TV series and documentaries. It is considered to be a sister channel of ProSieben.

Sky+ HD was the brand name of the HDTV service launched by Sky plc on 22 May 2006 in the United Kingdom and Ireland to enable high definition channels on Sky to be viewed. For the first two years after launch, the service was branded Sky HD. The service requires the user to have a Sky+ HD Digibox and an HD ready TV. A subscription to the original HD pack carries an extra fee of £10.25 a month in addition to the standard Sky subscription, allowing customers to view HD channels corresponding to the channel packs subscribed to. Additional Pay-Per-View events on Sky Box Office HD are not available to customers unless they subscribe to the Sky HD pack.

Zattoo is a TV platform for IP-based transmission of television channels and video on demand content to a variety of devices. The company headquarters are located in Zurich and it has an additional office in Berlin. Zattoo is operational in two business areas - in addition to its own B2C TV streaming operations aimed at end customers in countries such as Germany and Switzerland, Zattoo has a B2B offering and works with telecommunication companies worldwide.

eo TV was a German TV station based in Munich. It showed a mixture of European television series, feature films, classics and first releases on free TV. The ninth season of the talent show The Voice of Germany premiered on September 12, 2019 on ProSieben and on September 15, 2019 on Sat.1. The coaches were the singer and songwriter Mark Forster returning for his third season, while songwriter and singer Rea Garvey, who last coached in the fifth season returned alongside new coaches, pop musician Alice Merton and rapper Sido, who replaced Michi & Smudo, Yvonne Catterfeld and Michael Patrick Kelly. For the first time in its history, the show featured a fifth coach, Nico Santos, who selected contestants to participate in The Voice: Comeback Stage by SEAT. Meanwhile hosts Thore Schölermann returned for his eighth season and Lena Gercke returned for her fifth season.

DMAX is a German free-to-air television channel run by Warner Bros. Discovery. It was the first DMAX channel and started in 2006.
