He served as a member of National Working Group NEPAD/APRM, 2007–2009.

President, National Association of Nigerian Students, 2009–2011, Technical Assistant, MDGS – Presidency (2011–2013).

Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State on Student matters (2013–2015) and subsequently Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters (2015–2016).

He is served as the Publicity Secretary of the People's Democratic Party (Nigeria), Akwa Ibom State (2016-2020).

He is currently the Honourable Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Akwa Ibom State.

He is a public relations executive, a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediator and Conciliators, and a member of several other professional bodies including Nigerian Bar Association, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, etc.  

He is a Philanthropist and Humanitarian and serves as the President, Rotary Club of Uyo Metropolis under District 1942.

He is a faithful member of the Church of Christ and is married to Mrs Chinonyerem Ini Ememobong. The marriage is blessed with three children. Describing his personality, one would say he is a young man with ancient wisdom; a giant physique with a humble spirit, a ladder for his generation and the beacon of hope for the less privileged. The town is located on the A342 highway that parallels the coast, between Calabar to the south east and Aba to the west, with the state capital, Uyo, on this road just to the east. Umuahia is the next major town to the north.

Eket is one of the 31 local government areas in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The name Eket or Ekid also refers to the indigenous ethnic group of the region and to their language. The Eket people use the endonym Ekid for themselves and their language, but Europeans spell and pronounce the name as "Eket".

Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene (FGCIK) is a secondary school located in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The school was created by the Nigerian government in 1973 as one of the federally funded "Unity schools" to bring together students from regions across Nigeria. The school has facilities for both boarding and day students. Students range from Junior Secondary One (JS1) through Senior Secondary Three (SS3). Students must complete the Federal Common Entrance Exams in order to apply for attendance.

Ibiono-Ibom is a Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State in the south-south region of Nigeria. It has its administrative headquarters at Oko Ita.

Ikono is a Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, located in the South South of Nigeria. It is bounded at the North by Ini Local Government Area, South by Abak and Uyo Local Government Areas, East by Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area and West by Ikot Ekpene,Essien Udim and Obot Akara Local Government Areas. It was created a stand alone local government in september 1996. It has a landmass of 407.16 square kilometres (157.21 sq mi). It is no doubt one of the four largest LGA in Akwa Ibom and also known as the cradle of the Ibibio people [Ntippe Ibibio]. It occupies the northern fringe of Akwa-Ibom State next to Ini local Government which occupies the northern most fringe of the state. It is predominantly inhabited by the Ibibios, the largest ethnic groups in the state. Some popular sub-groups within Ikono include Ukpom, Nung Ukim and Ediene.

Nsit Atai Local government area was created in the year 1996 with its capital at Odot by the government of Gen. Sani Abacha. It has an area of out of an about 17,000 square kilometers, with 62 villages.

Uruan is a Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State, south of Nigeria.

Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, is a Nigerian lawyer and politician who is currently serving as the 15th president of the Nigerian Senate since 2023. He served as Senator representing Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District from 2015 to 2019 and since 2023. He also served as minister for Niger Delta Affairs from 2019 to 2022. He previously served as governor of Akwa Ibom State from 2007 to 2015.

Effiong Dickson Bob(Listen) from Ikot Ekwere, Ubium in Akwa Ibom State is the Pro Chancellor of the University of Benin. He was elected Senator for the Akwa Ibom North East Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He took office on 29 May 2003, and was re-elected in 2007 and served till 2011. He is a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

Bassey Albert Akpanlisten CON is a Nigerian politician who has been a member of the Senate of Nigeria since June 2015. Previously, he was Commissioner of Finance in Akwa Ibom State from 2007 to 2014. He was first elected to the Senate in March 2015, to represent Akwa Ibom North-East Senatorial District and he won re-election for a second time in the February 2019 senatorial elections. He is a member of the ypp.ng.

Akon Etim Eyakenyi is a Nigerian politician who is the deputy governor of Akwa Ibom State. She served as the senator for Akwa Ibom South from 2019 to 2023. Before being elected to the senate, she was the Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development from 2014 to 2015 under President Goodluck Jonathan.

The 2023 Akwa Ibom State gubernatorial election will take place on 18 March 2023, to elect the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, concurrent with elections to the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly as well as twenty-seven other gubernatorial elections and elections to all other state houses of assembly. The election—which was postponed from its original 11 March date—will be held three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections. Incumbent PDP Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term.

The Annang Festival of Arts and Culture is celebrated in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom, a region located in South Southern Nigeria. The festival was initiated in 2016, in order to preserve the Anaañ history, language and culture. The festival aims at preventing the Annang tradition and its cultural heritage from undergoing extinction. It showcase and promote the rich natural endowments of Annang land in Akwa Ibom State. The festival also has a registered foundation referred to as the Annang Festival of Arts and Culture Foundation.

The 2019 Nigerian House of Representatives elections in Akwa Ibom State was held on February 23, 2019, to elect members of the House of Representatives to represent Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The 2019 Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly election was held on March 9, 2019, to elect members of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly in Nigeria. All the 26 seats were up for election in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 Nigerian presidential election in Akwa Ibom State</span>

The 2023 Nigerian presidential election in Akwa Ibom State will be held on 25 February 2023 as part of the nationwide 2023 Nigerian presidential election to elect the president and vice president of Nigeria. Other federal elections, including elections to the House of Representatives and the Senate, will also be held on the same date while state elections will be held two weeks afterward on 11 March.
