The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) is an amalgamation of political parties in Namibia,registered as one singular party for representation purposes. In coalition with the United Democratic Front,it formed the official opposition in Parliament until the parliamentary elections in 2009. The party currently holds 16 seats in the Namibian National Assembly and one seat in the Namibian National Council and is the official opposition. McHenry Venaani is president of the PDM.

Job Shipululo Amupanda is a Namibian activist,associate professor,and politician who served as Mayor of the City of Windhoek,in office from 2 December 2020 to 1 December 2021. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Namibia before he co-founded the Affirmative Repositioning movement,a movement set up by radical youth activists of the SWAPO Party Youth League in November 2014.

The Landless People's Movement (LPM) is a political party in Namibia. It is led by former deputy minister of lands and resettlement Bernadus Swartbooi,who serves as its president and chief change campaigner,and Henny Seibeb,the party's deputy leader. The party has four seats in parliament,which are occupied by the Party's President,Bernadus Swartbooi,Mootu Utaara,Isaacks Edison and Seibeb Henry.
University of Namibia Student Representative Council was founded on 20 February 1992,and is recognised as the legal representative body for the students of the University of Namibia by the University of Namibia Act 18 of 1992. It is responsible for representing the interests of the students to the management of the University and to local and national government. It consists of representatives from all twelve campuses across Namibia.
Dimbulukeni 'Dee' Nauyoma is a Namibian youth activist who along with Job Amupanda and George Kambala co-founded a radical youth movement known as the Affirmative Repositioning in November 2014. Prior to the formation of the Affirmative Repositioning,he served in the SWAPO Youth League until 2014. From 2015 to 2018,he served as Secretary General of the Namibia National Students Organisation.
George Hidipo Hamba Kambala is a Namibian youth activist who along with Job Amupanda and Dimbulukeni Nauyoma co-founded a radical youth movement known as the Affirmative Repositioning in 2014 to advocate for land among Namibian youths. He also served in the SWAPO Youth League before his subsequent expulsion for his involvement in the youth movement.
NUST SRC is the legal student representative body of the Namibia University of Science and Technology students in Namibia. Based on Windhoek,it was formed in 1995 and represents 19 000 students of the university's student population.
General elections were held in Namibia on 27 November 2019. Ballots were cast using electronic voting. A total of eleven candidates ran for the presidency and fifteen political parties contested the National Assembly elections.

It is responsible for directing research and teaching programs in the fields of political science and social science. The department was first established in 1992 at the founding of the university. It offers undergraduate,postgraduate and PhD degrees level in Public Administration,Sociology,Political Science International Relations and Philosophy some of which are interfaculty linked.
Angelina Ndinouange Immanuel is a Namibian youth activist and educator. She first rose to national attention after the decision to challenge the ruling SWAPO Party in the Ondangwa elections. The decision led to condemnation from members of the party,among them Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa.
The LPM Youth and Students Command Element is a youth and student wing body of the Landless People's Movement (Namibia). Formed in 2018,the wing has been led by Duminga Ndala since its inception.
Patience Masua is a Namibian politician and lawyer. She serves as a Member of Parliament in the National Assembly,after being appointed by President Hage Geingob in April,2021,becoming Namibia's youngest Member of Parliament. Previously,she was Secretary General of Namibia National Students Organization and served in the UNAM SRC as student parliamentary speaker.
Maximalliant Tjekupe Katjimune is a Namibian politician who serves as Member of Parliament from the Popular Democratic Movement.
Mike Rapuikua Venaani is a Namibian politician and farmer who has represented the Popular Democratic Movement in the National Assembly of Namibia since June 2022. He is the father of party leader McHenry Venaani.
