The film was released in Indonesia on 19 April 2017, two days before Kartini's day. Although being highly anticipated, the film turned out to perform below expectations. It gained just over 500 thousands viewers, a small viewership for a big budgeted local film. Despite turning a profitable venture, it is still considered an unexpected boxoffice disappointment for failing to reach less than 1 million viewers.
Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash is a 2021 Indonesian black comedy action drama film directed by Edwin who also co-wrote the screenplay with Eka Kurniawan based on Kurniawan's best-selling book of the same name. The film had its world premiere in August 2021 at the 74th Locarno Film Festival, where it won the top prize of Golden Leopard for Best Film.

Layangan Putus is an Indonesian drama streaming television series produced by Manoj Punjabi under MD Entertainment. The storyline is based on a viral story that started with a story written on social media which was continued into a novel entitled Layangan Putus, written by the same person as pen name Mommy ASF. It starred Reza Rahadian, Putri Marino, and Anya Geraldine. The series premiered on WeTV and iflix on 26 November 2021, and also aired on RCTI on 9 February 2022. It went off-air on 22 January 2022.
