Eric Banadinović,, known professionally as Eric Bana, is an Australian actor and comedian. He began his career in the sketch comedy series Full Frontal before gaining notice in the comedy drama The Castle (1997). The script was written by Nambiar and Megha Ramaswamy. The film stars Rajeev Khandelwal, Kalki Koechlin, Gulshan Devaiah, Shiv Panditt, Neil Bhoopalam, Kirti Kulhari, Rajit Kapoor, Pawan Malhotra and Rajkummar Rao. Alif Allah Aur Insaan is a Pakistani Sufi spiritual drama series which aired on Hum TV from 25 April 2017 to 13 February 2018. It was produced by Momina Duraid, as part of a night programming all under Duraid's MD Productions and was written by Qaisra Hayat, based on her novel of the same name. The series was directed by Ahson Talish. It was also telecast on state channel PTV Home from August 2019 through 2020. It stars Usman Peerzada, Mikaal Zulfiqar, Kubra Khan, Ushna Shah, Shehzad Sheikh, Imran Ashraf and Sana Fakhar.
The Dry is the 2016 debut novel by Australian author Jane Harper. The book has won numerous international awards and has sold more than one million copies worldwide. A film adaptation starring Eric Bana was released on 1 January 2021 with great success, placing it as one of the highest grossing Australian film opening weekends ever.
