Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. It consists of over 17,000 islands, including Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi, and parts of Borneo and New Guinea. Indonesia is the world's largest island country and the 14th-largest country by area, at 1,904,569 square kilometres. With over 278 million people, Indonesia is the world's fourth-most populous country and the most populous Muslim-majority country. Java, the world's most populous island, is home to more than half of the country's population.

The Colombo Plan is a regional intergovernmental organization that began operations on 1 July 1951. The organization was conceived at an international conference, The Commonwealth Conference on Foreign Affairs held in Colombo, Ceylon in January 1950, and was attended by the finance ministers of Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, Ceylon, Pakistan and New Zealand, and the prime ministers of Ceylon and India. Operation World is a reference book and prayer guide, begun by Patrick Johnstone and continued by Jason Mandryk, both from WEC International, a Christian mission agency. The first edition was published by Dorothea Mission, later editions by Send the Light, publishing branch of Operation Mobilisation (OM). The latest edition of Operation World was published by Biblica, but is now distributed by InterVarsity Press (IVP) after IVP acquired the publishing arm of Biblica in late 2011. Operation World content has been made available online. It is aimed at informing Christians about every country in the world in order to encourage the church to pray for the world and to engage the world in Christian mission. This resource refers to itself as being written from a broadly evangelical Christian perspective.
The Act Number 44 of 2008 on Pornography, commonly known as Pornography Law, is a law in Indonesia on pornography which was passed on 30 October 2008. It was proposed as the Bill against Pornography and Porno-Action, sometimes translated as Bill against Pornography and Pornographic Acts, by the Indonesian legislative assembly, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, on 14 February 2006. The bill was passed into an act on 30 October 2008.

It publishes articles and notes about the Indonesian economy. The BIES has been published three times each year since the first issue was produced in 1965.
Mubyarto was an Indonesian economist. He was born in Sleman, in Yogyakarta, and became a professor of economics at Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta specialising in agricultural economics. He frequently wrote and spoke about challenges of agricultural development in Indonesia. Later in his career he became known for his interest in Pancasila economics and ekonomi rakyat.
