The Institut au service du spatial, de ses applications et technologies (ISSAT) (in English Institute of Space, its Applications and Technologies [1] ), is a French association supported by French Ministry of Education, [2] created in 1995 [3] in order to develop the aerospace activities in Toulouse [4] and to help developing the knowledge of aerospace in France and Europe [5] [6]

It finally disappeared in 1969, giving birth to the three current Toulouse universities: the University Toulouse-I-Capitole, the University Toulouse-II-Jean-Jaurès and the University Toulouse-III-Paul-Sabatier.

École nationale de l'aviation civile (ENAC) is one of 205 colleges accredited to award engineering degrees in France. ENAC is designated as a grande école by the Conférence des Grandes écoles (CGE), a non-profit organisation which certifies and monitors grandes écoles. ENAC was founded on 28 August 1949 to provide initial and continuing education in the field of civil aviation. The school is an établissement public à caractère scientifique, culturel et professionnel, and operates under the oversight of the Ministry of Ecological Transition. Affiliated with the University of Toulouse and Aerospace Valley, it is one of the five founders of France AEROTECH.

It was founded in 1961 and has been part of IONIS Education Group since 1998.

Institut aéronautique et spatial (IAS) is the French aeronautical industry's education coordinator. IAS was created in 1980 and is located in Toulouse. It is directly under the supervision of GIFAS international committee. IAS’members are the major aeronautics & space companies such as EADS Group, Safran Group, Thales Group, Dassault Aviation, Airbus, Eurocopter,….. and the aerospace equipment group including SME’s. IAS is member of Institut au service du spatial, de ses applications et technologies.

The Institute of Space and Telecommunications Law (IDEST) was founded in 2000 under the initiative of professionals in the space and telecommunication sectors. The institute is attached to the Interdisciplinary College of Research at the University of Paris-Sud. IDEST is made up of a number of lecturers, professors, PhD students, and researchers under the control of a scientific counsel composed of renowned professors and key figures in the sectors involved.

Donecle is a Toulouse-based aircraft manufacturer which develops autonomous aircraft inspection UAVs. The company offers single UAVs and swarms of UAVs to visually inspect the exterior of airliners.

COUPERIN is an academic consortium in France. Formed in 1999, it includes more than 250 universities, research organizations, Grandes écoles (schools), COMUE, and others. The consortium negotiates with publishers the prices and conditions of access to scientific publications and other digital resources for the benefit of its members. It promotes open science, particularly with regard to scientific publications, both nationally and internationally. It is headquartered in Paris.

Valérie Cornetet, is a French professor and aerospace engineer. Since the 1st of July 2022, she is the director-general of the Institut polytechnique des sciences avancées.
