John Peter Farnham AO is a British-born Australian singer. Farnham was a teen pop idol from 1967 until 1979, billed until then as Johnny Farnham. He has since forged a career as an adult contemporary singer. His career has mostly been as a solo artist, although he replaced Glenn Shorrock as lead singer of Little River Band from 1982 to 1985.
Let's Talk About Love is the fifteenth studio album and fifth English-language album by Canadian singer Celine Dion, released on 14 November 1997 by Sony Music. The follow-up to the commercially successful Falling into You (1996), Let's Talk About Love showed a further progression of Dion's music. Throughout the project, she collaborated with Barbra Streisand, the Bee Gees, Luciano Pavarotti, Carole King, George Martin, Diana King, Brownstone, Corey Hart, and her previous producers: David Foster, Ric Wake, Walter Afanasieff, Humberto Gatica, and Jim Steinman. The album includes Dion's biggest hit, "My Heart Will Go On". Written by James Horner and Will Jennings and serving as the love theme for James Cameron's 1997 blockbuster film, Titanic, "My Heart Will Go On" topped the charts around the world and is considered to be Dion's signature song.
Magic Affair is a German eurodance project formed in Frankfurt, Germany in 1993 by music producer Mike Staab. German singer Franca Morgano and American rapper Burnell Keith Herring fronted the project in the early stages. Magic Affair is best known in Europe for the hit singles "Omen III", "Give Me All Your Love" and "In the Middle of the Night" and the album Omen . To date, the project has sold 2.5 million records in Germany and over 8 million records worldwide.
Music Box is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released by Columbia Records on August 31, 1993. The album comprises ballads primarily written by Carey and Walter Afanasieff, with whom she had previously worked on Emotions (1991), and a few urban dance tracks. During the course of the album's development, Carey wanted to broaden her audience, choosing a more pop/R&B oriented sound. During this time frame, she experimented with different musical instruments, leading the album's sound away from her more contemporary previous two efforts.

They were named after the San Francisco 49ers American football team, and because former vocalist Dawn Mitchell was the 49th vocalist to audition.

Rockmelons, often referred to as the Rockies, were an Australian pop/dance/R&B group formed in 1983 in Sydney. Primary members are Bryon Jones, his brother Jonathon Jones and Raymond Medhurst. They had two Australian top five hit singles in the early 1990s with "Ain't No Sunshine" and "That Word (L.O.V.E.)", both sung by Deni Hines. The associated album, Form 1 Planet, peaked at number 3 on the ARIA albums chart in 1992, and was certified platinum in Australia.

The song features vocals by American singer Lori Glori and peaked at number nine in Belgium, number 13 in Switzerland, number 15 in Finland and number 17 in Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it reached number 33. Outside Europe, the single peaked at number 89 in Australia. It sold to Gold in Germany.

She is currently ranked in seventh place of the artists with the most number one singles in the history of the Billboard Hot 100. Prior to the introduction of digital singles, Houston sold 16.5 million physical singles in the country, the most ever by a female recording artist. In October 2012, the Official Charts Company claimed Houston was the fourth biggest-selling female singles artist of all time with a sales total of 8.5 million singles in that country.

Written by Nosie Katzmann and Tony Dawson-Harrison from Captain Hollywood Project, it was released as the second single from the album by same name (1994). It features vocals by American singer Valerie Scott and uses the interpolated melody of the 1983 song "Send Me An Angel" by Australian band Real Life. The single was a major hit in Europe, peaking within the Top 10 in Austria, Germany and Spain. It spent 12 weeks on the German singles chart. Additionally, it reached number 40 in Switzerland and number 42 in Belgium. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it peaked at number 33 in January 1994. Outside Europe, it was a hit also in Israel, peaking at number 11 in September 1993. A music video was made to accompany the song. In 2003, trance music duo Grey & Frost updated "Piece of My Heart" into a modern hard trance sound.
