The annual International Conference on Digital Audio Effects or DAFx Conference is a meeting of enthusiasts working in research areas on audio signal processing, acoustics, and music related disciplines, who come together to present and discuss their findings. The conference evolved from an EU-COST-G6 project “Digital Audio Effects” in 1998.

"Diva" was the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest 1998 performed in Hebrew by Dana International representing Israel. The music was composed by Svika Pick, with lyrics written by Yoav Ginai. the song produced by Offer Nissim with music arrangements by Alon Levin. It totalled 172 points in the polling. This was Israel's third time winning the Eurovision Song contest.

<i>Gamereactor</i> family of video game magazines

Gamereactor is an international online network covering video games on consoles, PC and mobile. It was started in Denmark in 1998 by Morten Reichel and Claus Reichel - during the early years under the name Gamez.dk. The Magazine and Online site Gamez.dk took over the online sites Gamereactor.dk/.se/.no from Egmont Digital in 2002. Egmont started the sites in 1998. In 2001 they released Gamereactor Magazine in Norway and soon after in Sweden. Since late 2007 Gamereactor has also been available in Finland, and it also launched in Germany in 2009. In 2010 they launched in Italy, and a Portuguese version came online in 2013. Gamereactor later opened outlets in France in November 2016, The Netherlands in January 2017, and China in January 2018.

Over one half (fifty-percent) of the crew of each ship participating in the races must consist of young people.

Cartoon Network refers to two digital children's TV channels broadcasting animated programs: Cartoon Network MENA, which serves the Middle East and North Africa region along with Cyprus; and Cartoon Network Africa, which serves Sub-Saharan Africa. Cartoon Network was created by Turner Broadcasting System. Cartoon Network UK/Europe was launched on 17 September 1993. In October 1999, Cartoon Network UK became a separate feed from Cartoon Network HQ, but initially had a nearly identical schedule to Cartoon Network HQ until the latter became completely independent from the UK feed on 1 August 2001.

International Society for Music Information Retrieval

The International Society for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR) is an international forum for research on the organization of music-related data. It started as an informal group steered by an ad hoc committee in 2000 which established a yearly symposium - whence "ISMIR", which meant International Symposium on Music Information Retrieval. It was turned into a conference in 2002 while retaining the acronym. ISMIR was incorporated in Canada on July 4, 2008.

The Sound and Music Computing (SMC) Conference is the forum for international exchanges around the core interdisciplinary topics of Sound and Music Computing. The conference is held annually to facilitate the exchange of ideas in this field.

River (Eminem song) Eminem song

"River" is a song by American rapper Eminem featuring guest vocals by English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. It is the fifth track from his ninth solo studio album Revival (2017). The song was written by Mathers, Sheeran and Emile Haynie, and produced by Haynie. "River" was released to radio on December 15, 2017, in Italy, and in the UK on January 5, 2018, as the album's second single. The music video received a nomination for Best Cinematography at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards. "River" details the struggles of a failing relationship that culminates in an abortion.
