The International Engineering Public Company Limited, is an information, energy and communication company whose headquarters are located in Bangkok, Thailand.
The company was established in 1922 to undertake engineering work on the Bangkok-Aranyaprathet Railway, which connected Thailand to the Cambodian border for the first time. IEC participated in building up the infrastructure of the country as it rapidly modernised. IEC became, in 1929, the sole official distributor of Westinghouse products.
IEC was involved in the reconstruction efforts following World War II. For its distinguished position and services, it received in 1965 the honour of Royal Appointment from His Majesty the King of Thailand, making it one of the first Thai companies to receive this honour. [1]
IEC has been listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand since 1992. It is running and implementing a collective 16 MW solar and waste-to-energy power plants in Thailand, also providing information and communication solutions to state and private corporations in Thailand.[ citation needed ]

The International Electrotechnical Commission is an international standards organization that prepares and publishes international standards for all electrical, electronic and related technologies – collectively known as "electrotechnology". IEC standards cover a vast range of technologies from power generation, transmission and distribution to home appliances and office equipment, semiconductors, fibre optics, batteries, solar energy, nanotechnology and marine energy as well as many others. The IEC also manages four global conformity assessment systems that certify weather equipment, system or components conform to its international standards.

IEC 61850 is an international standard defining communication protocols for intelligent electronic devices at electrical substations. It is a part of the International Electrotechnical Commission's (IEC) Technical Committee 57 reference architecture for electric power systems. The abstract data models defined in IEC 61850 can be mapped to a number of protocols. Current mappings in the standard are to Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS), GOOSE [see section 3, Terms and definitions, term 3.65 on page 14], SV or SMV, and soon to web services. In the previous version of the standard, GOOSE stood for "Generic Object Oriented Substation Event", but this old definition is still very common in IEC 61850 documentation. These protocols can run over TCP/IP networks or substation LANs using high speed switched Ethernet to obtain the necessary response times below four milliseconds for protective relaying.
Srinakharinwirot University is a public university in Bangkok, Thailand. Founded in 1949, the university was the first upper-education institution to concentrate solely on teacher training. The name "Srinakharinwirot" was given by King Bhumibol Adulyadej to honour his Mother Princess Srinagarindra. Srinakharinwirot University has two campuses; Prasarnmit Campus in Bangkok's Watthana district and Ongkharak Campus in Nakhon Nayok province's Ongkharak district. Other minor campuses include Bhodivijjalaya College’s campuses in Sa Kaeo province and Chiang Mai province’s Mae Chaem district.

The SET Index is a Thai composite stock market index calculated by the prices of all common stocks on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET), except for stocks that have been suspended for more than one year. It is a market capitalization-weighted price index which compares the current market value of all listed common shares with its value on the base date of April 30, 1975, when the Index was established and set at 100 points.
