International Sunni Ijtema also known as Sunni Daawat-e-Islami Ijtema is an annual Congregation or Ijtema organised by Sunni Daawat-e-Islami at the Wadi-e-Noor in Azad Maidan, Mumbai, Maharashtra for 2 days. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] It is captured that lacs of people attend the congregation. [6] [7] [8] The first day of the congregation is Reserved for women [9] and second for men. [10] [11] [12] It had started it's conference in 1991 and continued still. [13] The Ijtema end with a mass prayer of lacs of people headed by Shakir Ali Noori. [14] A Congregation held at Nagpur on the 100th Urs of Muhammad Tajuddin where lacs of people attended. [15]

The crowd are in lacs of women for the first day. Every women around Maharashtra joins the Congregation. [16] [17]

Muhammad Akhtar Raza Khan Azhari, also known as Tajush Shari'ah or Azhari Miya, was an Indian Barelvi Muslim scholar, cleric and mufti. He was the great grandson of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi who was considered to be a Mujaddid by his followers and was the founder of the Barelvi movement. He was recognised by Barelvi Muslims as the Grand Mufti of India. All India Muslim Jamaat is an Indian Non-governmental religious organization belonging to the Barelvi movement of Sunni Islam. It was established on 17 September 2022 at the residence of Mannan Raza Khan, brother of Akhtar Raza Khan on the occasion of 104th Urs-e-Razvi of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. It is celebrated after the Mawlid Program. The procession calls Slogans like Labbaik Ya Rasul Allah, Sarkar Ki Aamad Marhaba etc. The procession of Kanpur is the largest in Asia.

Urs-e-Nizamuddin Aulia also known as Urs-e-Mehboob-e-Ilahi or Urs-e-Hazrat Nizamuddin is a 5 days long annual event commemorating the death anniversary of the Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia organised at the Dargah Nizamuddin Aulia. The Urs attracts a large section of Barelvi and Sufi Muslims all over the world. It is organised on 16 Rabiul Thani and ends on 21 Rabiul Thani.

Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board is a statutory body established in 1948 under The Bihar Waqf Act 1947. It is under the State Ministry of Minority Welfare. It came under the provision of the Central Waqf Act 1954 in year 1973. It has another split of Bihar State Shia Waqf Board. The State Government of Bihar had enacted a new act named Bihar Waqf Act 1995 and constituted Bihar State Sunni Waqf Board with a new department on 3 October 2001.

Sunni Dawate Islami is an Indian Non-governmental and socio-religious organisation which works for sunni muslims of India founded by Muhammad Shakir Ali Noori in 1990. It is headquartered at Mumbai, Maharashtra and other offices abroad. They organise International Sunni Ijtema at Azad Maidan, Mumbai for 2 days. It completed its 20th Annual Conference in 2010 and 30th Annual Conference in 2022. It takes out a great procession of Juloos-e-Muhammadi on the occasion of Eid-ul-Milad-un-Nabi every year.

Juloos-e-Ghausia also known as Juloos-e-Gaus-e-Azam is an annual procession commemorating Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jilani on Gyarwi Sharif. It is done by sunni Sufi Muslims only across India. It is largely participated by Raza Academy and Sunni Daawat-e-Islami.

The views of the Scholars of Barelvi movement are taken by the Fatwas given on Terrorism in Islam. The Fatwas includes that are given by the founder of Barelvi Movement Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, Darul Iftas of the movement and the Scholars related to the movement. The fatwas were against the ISIS, Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Hafiz Saeed and other different Terror groups that are connected to Islam. More than 70000 Scholars related to the movement had signed the Fatwa against ISIS, Taliban and Al Qaeda.

Urs-e-Noori is a two-day annual festival commemorating the death anniversary of the death of Mufti Azam-e-Hind Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri, younger son of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi. It is celebrated annually on 13th and 14th of Muharram month per Islamic calender. It is celebrated since 1981 at the Bareilly Sharif Dargah.

Ashfaque Hussain Naeemi was the Grand Mufti of Rajasthan. He belonged to Qadiriyya Silsila of Sufism and a leader of the Barelvi movement of Sunni Islam in Rajasthan. He was the founder of Madrasa Darul Uloom Ishaquiya, Ashfaqiya Institute and Ishaqiya Senior Secondary School in Jodhpur. He was the mureed of Mustafa Raza Khan Qadri and Mukhtar Ashraf. He was succeeded by Sher Muhammad Razvi as the Grand Mufti of Rajasthan. He is buried in Khanqah Ashfaqiya, Chokha, Rajasthan.
