Intercultural relations, sometimes called intercultural studies, is a field of social science. It is a multi-disciplinary academic field designed to train students to understand, communicate, and accomplish specific goals outside their own cultures. Intercultural relations involves, at a fundamental level, learning how to see oneself and the world through the eyes of another. It seeks to prepare students for interaction with cultures both similar to their own or very different from their own. Some aspects of intercultural relations also include, their power and cultural identity with how the relationship should be upheld with other foreign countries.
The Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas (PUST), also known as the Angelicum in honor of its patron the Doctor Angelicus Thomas Aquinas, is a pontifical university located in the historic center of Rome, Italy. The Angelicum is administered by the Dominican Order and is the order's central locus of Thomist theology and philosophy.
The University of Alcalá is a public university located in Alcalá de Henares, a city 35 km northeast of Madrid in Spain and also the third-largest city of the region. It was founded in 1293 as a Studium Generale for the public, and was refounded in 1977. The University of Alcalá is especially renowned in the Spanish-speaking world for its annual presentation of the highly prestigious Cervantes Prize. The university currently enrolls 28,336 students, 17,252 of whom are studying for undergraduate degrees, who are taught by a teaching staff of 2,608 professors, lecturers and researchers belonging to 24 departments. The Environmental Campus Birkenfeld (ECB) is a branch of the Hochschule Trier in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is close to the small town of Birkenfeld in Rhineland-Palatinate, close to the border of Saarland, Luxembourg, Belgium and France. There are 1,800 students enrolled in two departments. There are a total of 59 professors teaching in both departments.
Saarland University is a public research university located in Saarbrücken, the capital of the German state of Saarland. It was founded in 1948 in Homburg in co-operation with France and is organized in six faculties that cover all major fields of science. In 2007, the university was recognized as an excellence center for computer science in Germany.

Public expenditure on education was reported to be 4.6% of GDP and 26.1% of total government spending.
Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences is one of Finland's largest universities of applied sciences. The institution is fully supervised and accredited by the Finnish government through the Ministry of Education and Culture. The university's primary facilities are in Pasila, Helsinki. Pharos University in Alexandria (PUA) جامعة فاروس بالإسكندرية is the first private university in Alexandria, Egypt. The first Egyptian private university, in Alexandria, established by Republican Decrees Nos. 252 of 2006, 302 of 2009, and 659 of 2020, it is an accredited university whose degrees are equivalent to those from the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities and the Ministry of Higher Education. As internationalization is one of PUA’s key strategic goals, PUA has built numerous collaborative links with European, American, and Asian universities with which it works closely to ensure its students receive a global standard of education. Collaborations include various activities such as staff and student exchange, program development, joint research, and Erasmus+ programs. Moreover, PUA currently offers two international degree programs with its international partners, the first is a BSc in six Engineering disciplines in partnership with the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH), Sweden, and the second degree is in Business & Management validated by Technological University Dublin, Ireland. It obtained a license from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Private Universities to begin operation in the 2006–2007 academic year. It includes twelve faculties: Pharmacy, Dentistry, Engineering, Languages and Translation, Financial and Administrative Sciences, Legal Studies and International Relations, Tourism and Hotel Management, Applied Health Sciences Technology, Mass Communication, Physical Therapy, Arts and Design, Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence. The University of Pharos was established in accordance with the latest internationally acknowledged standards and parameters regarding higher education quality, and is supported with advanced highly equipped scientific laboratories. The University has signed a series of cooperation agreements with a number of European and American universities in order to benefit from their advanced modern teaching methodologies and sustainable development in the various fields of science, as well as the application of international quality systems. In accordance with that, many student and faculty staff member exchange programs are organized between PUA and other universities in order to take advantage of the expertise of those universities and achieve further development.
University of the Bundeswehr Munich is one of two research universities in Germany at federal level that both were founded in 1973 as part of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Originally called Hochschule der Bundeswehr München the institution was supposed to offer civilian academic education for military officers. As an uncommon feature amongst German universities University of the Bundeswehr Munich unifies a more theoretical research university division and a more practical-oriented College of Applied Sciences branch. Today, the university has an increasing number of civilian and international students. The academic year at the university is structured in "trimesters" and not the usual semester, to offer intensive studies with more credit points per year. Very capable students can therefore achieve a bachelor's and a master's degree within less than four years, while this would usually require five years. University of the Bundeswehr Munich has well-established scientific research and forms part of two excellence clusters of the German government's university excellence initiative. The University of the Bundeswehr Munich is one of only very few campus universities in Germany.

The Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH) degree is a Bachelor's level academic undergraduate degree that provides training in laws as well as public management in Germany. The academic degree is achieved within the framework of a dual study program at a University of applied sciences for public administration. This study is usually only available to appointed civil servants after a public selection procedure. The study program of 4 years is often compressed into 3 years by concentrated studies with no semester breaks. This degree is a combination of the Bachelor of Public Administration and the Bachelor of Laws with the focus on laws, public management and economics. Because of the Bologna Process this degree has been replaced in some German states by a bachelor's degree, though many still award it as a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH).
