Into the Great Beyond is the second studio album by Japanese metalcore band Crystal Lake. It was released on 3 November 2010 through Imperium Recordings. [1] [2] [3] It is the first and also the last album to feature their second and longest serving bassist Yasuyuki Kotaka before he left the band in 2015 due to his illness. It also the last album to feature two founding members of the band, vocalist Kentaro Nishimura and drummer Yusuke Ishihara.
On 27 May 2010, Crystal Lake released free download demo Endeavor on their MySpace page. [4] Crystal Lake also announced through MySpace, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube a new music video "Twisted Fate" from the album.
The songs "Twisted Fate", "Open Water", "Daylight" and "Into the Great Beyond" were re-recorded in 2020 for the album The Voyages, a collection of re-recorded Kentaro-era songs. [5]
All tracks are written by Kentaro Nishimura, Yudai Miyamoto, Shinya Hori, Yasuyuki Kotaka, and Yusuke Ishihara.

Crystal Lake
Guided by Voices (GBV) is an American indie rock band formed in 1983 in Dayton, Ohio. It has made frequent personnel changes but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Robert Pollard. The most well-known lineup of the band consisted of Pollard, his brother Jim, Mitch Mitchell, Tobin Sprout, Kevin Fennell (drums), and bassist Greg Demos. Noted at first for its lo-fi aesthetic and Portastudio four-tracks-to-cassette production methods, Guided by Voices' music was influenced by early post–British Invasion garage rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, punk rock and post-punk. The band has had a prolific output, releasing 35 full-length albums along with many other releases, and has garnered a dedicated cult following. Their songs are known for their frequent brevity and for ending abruptly or intertwining with eclectic and homemade sound effects.
Area-7 are an Australian ska punk band. Formed in Melbourne in 1994, they have released four studio albums, No Logic!, Bitter & Twisted, Say It To My Face and Torn Apart. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2000, Bitter & Twisted was nominated for ARIA Award for Best Rock Album.
