Iosif Nemes (born 1903, date of death unknown) was a Romanian rugby union player. [1] He was part of the Romanian team that won the bronze medal in the rugby tournament at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]

Iosif Sârbu was a Romanian sports shooter and Romania’s first ever Olympic champion. He competed in six 50 m rifle events in total at the 1952, 1956 and 1960 Olympics and won a gold medal in the 50 m rifle prone in 1952, setting a world record.
