"Iron" is the debut single by Woodkid from his album The Golden Age which was released in 2013. It was written by Yoann Lemoine with arrangements by Gustave Rudman. The single was released on March 28, 2011. The song gained popularity after being used in a trailer for Assassin's Creed: Revelations . It was also sampled in Kendrick Lamar's "The Spiteful Chant" on his 2011 album section.80 .

Contents

On 5 October 2021, a newer arrangement of Iron, titled Iron 2021, was released in conjunction with the original song's 10th anniversary. [1] [2]

Music video

The music video, starring the fashion models Agyness Deyn, [4] Matvey Lykov, [5] Willy Cartier [6] and Ross Tanner, [6] was directed by Yoann Lemoine himself. [7] It was awarded "Best Music Video" at the Namur Film Festival 2011, [4] [8] "Best Art Direction" and Best Cinematography at the Antville Music Video Awards 2011, [9] and won the Grand Prix at the Protoclip International Music Video Festival 2011. [4] It was nominated for "Best Cinematography" , [4] for "Best Music Video" at the Camerimage International Film Festival 2011 [10] and for "Best International Pop Video", "Best Styling in a Video" and "Best Visual Effects in a Video" at the UK Music Video Awards. Camerimage

The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage is a festival dedicated to the celebration of cinematography and recognition of its creators, cinematographers. The first seven events (1993–1999) were held in Toruń, Poland. The next ten events (2000–2009) were held in Łódź. From 2010 until 2018 the festival has taken place in Bydgoszcz, before returning to Toruń in 2019, where it currently remains. In 2007, the name of the festival was changed from Camerimage to Plus Camerimage but was changed back in 2013 after the sponsorship deal with Plus ended. At the end of November every year, Camerimage brings together professional cinematographers, students and other people associated with the film industry. The Camerimage festival spans over a course of one week, with multiple events at one time.

Disclosure is an English electronic music duo consisting of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence. They grew up in Reigate, Surrey. The Golden Age is the debut studio album from French singer-songwriter and director Woodkid. It was released on 18 March 2013 through independent label, Green United Music. Lemoine released the official album cover through a video he created himself on 14 December 2012 and released the album's corresponding track listing one week later on 21 December 2012 on his official Facebook page.

"Run Boy Run" is a song by Yoann Lemoine, under his stage name Woodkid. It was released as the second single from his debut studio album, The Golden Age (2012). It was written by Lemoine and Ambroise Willaume from the French band Revolver. The single was released on 21 May 2012, becoming his highest-charting single. "Run Boy Run" was certified gold in Germany in 2014.

I Love You (Woodkid song) 2013 song by Woodkid

"I Love You" is the third single by Woodkid, taken from his debut album The Golden Age. It was co-written by Lemoine himself and by Ambroise Willaume. Arrangements were added by Willaume. B-sides for the I Love You single were Towers, I Love You, and The Deer.

The Shoes (French band)

The Shoes are a French electro-rock duo originally from Reims created in 2007. It consists of Guillaume Brière and Benjamin Lebeau, who are both songwriters and producers. Before creating the concurrent group in 2007, Benjamin and Guillaume were the two members of The Film, a rock band that formed in Bordeaux in 2005. Guillaume Brière also formed the duo G. Vump along with Brodinski from Reims. Brière is also known under the alias Vladimir Cauchemar since 2017.
