The University of Jos,abbreviated as Unijos,is a Federal University in Jos,Plateau State,central Nigeria.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is a Nigerian entrance examination board for tertiary-level institutions. The board conducts entrance Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for prospective undergraduates into Nigerian universities. The board is also charged with the responsibility to administer similar examinations for applicants to Nigerian public and private monotechnics,polytechnics,and colleges of educations. All of these candidates must have obtained the West Africa Senior School Certificate (WASSCE) conducted yearly by the West African Examinations Council,WAEC,or its equivalent,National Examination Council (Nigeria),Senior School Certificate Examination,NECO SSCE.
University of Ilorin,also known as Unilorin,is a federal government-owned university in Ilorin,Kwara State,Nigeria. It was established by a decree of the federal military government in August,1975. The establishment aimed to implement one of the educational directives of the Third National Development Plan,which was aimed at providing more opportunities for Nigerians aspiring to acquire university education and to generate high-level manpower,which is vital for the rapidly expanding economy. Compared to other higher institutions of learning in the country,the institution has one of the largest land areas,covering approximately 15,000 hectares of land. It is reported by Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) to be the most sought-after Nigerian university in 2021. And again in 2023,it was announced by the JAMB Head,Professor Ishaq Oloyede to be the sought-after University,for the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME),making it for the 10th consecutive year.
Bashiru Ademola Raji,FAAS is a Nigerian professor of soil science,Pedologist,geologist,environmental impact assessment expert and the former Vice chancellor of Fountain University,Osogbo.
Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun is a Nigerian lawyer,academic,author,investor,professor of environmental law and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria. He served as the 8th substantive vice-chancellor of Lagos State University between 11 January 2016 to 10 January 2021. His administration as LASU's vice chancellor witnessed tremendous gains in research,innovations and infrastructural development –which helped to propel the university from obscurity to the second best university in Nigeria according to the 2021 Times Higher Education ranking. He was appointed by the governor of Lagos State,Akinwunmi Ambode to succeed professor John Obafunwa,a Nigerian pathologist whose tenure ended on 31 October 2015. His appointment was lauded by the Lagos State University chapter of the Academic Staff Union of Universities. The association through the chapter chairman pledge their full support for good administration.
Oluwatoyin Temitayo Ogundipe is a Nigerian academic and a professor of botany. He served as the 12th vice chancellor of the University of Lagos from November 2017 to November 2022.
Ibiyemi Samuel Tunji was a Nigerian academic,lecturer,professor of electrical and electronics engineering. He was the second vice-chancellor of the Achievers University,Owo Ondo State. He was appointed on 1 April 2014 to succeed Johnson Odebiyi,the pioneer vice-chancellor,whose tenure started in 2008 and ended in 2014.
The Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) was established in 1973 at a national conference of Nigerian Muslim leaders in Kaduna under the auspices of Jama'atu Nasril Islam (JNI),the group for all the Islamic organisations in Northern Nigeria. In the South-West,prior to this conference,the first Muslim organisation to be formed after the 1960 Independence was the United Muslim Council (UMC),but was embraced by a few Muslims in the Western Zone for it was championed by the ruling political party. Summit University,Offa is a privately owned university founded in 2015 and located in Offa,Nigeria. It is one of the few private universities located in Kwara,North central Nigeria. The University is owned and established by the Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria,a Muslim organization established for the purpose of educational development of Muslims and Muslim society in Nigeria. The institution was established together with nine others private universities in Nigeria in 2015.

Ahman Pategi University,Patigi is one of the twenty new private universities in Nigeria that was approved for establishment by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) in February,2021.
Samuel Gowon Edoumiekumo is a Nigerian professor of Economics who was the former deputy Vice Chancellor of Niger Delta University and currently the 4th substantive Vice Chancellor of same school.
Akpofure Rim-Rukeh is a Nigerian professor of Microbial Corrosion and Environmental Studies who was the former deputy Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun and currently the 4th substantive Vice Chancellor of same school.
Wahab Olasupo Egbewole is a Professor of International law and jurisprudence and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin in Nigeria. He is a professor Professor in the Department of Jurisprudence and International Law,University of Ilorin. He was appointed after 25 years of working with the University as a lecturer. He is an academic and a published author.
Jeleel Olasunkanmi Ojuade is Nigerian professor of dance studies,first Yoruba Professor of Dance in Nigeria and the Vice-Chancellor of the Crown-Hill University,Ilorin since January 2023.
Shaykh Luqman Jimoh is a Nigerian professor of Islamic medicine and theology who became the acting vice chancellor of Kwara State University,Malete,Kwara State,Nigeria,since 5 January 2023 following the death of former vice chancellor,Professor Mustapha Akanbi. He was the deputy vice-chancellor (academics) until his appointment as the vice-chancellor.
Razaq Deremi Abubakre is former vice-chancellor of Al-Hikmah University,Ilorin,Kwara State,Nigeria. He is former Vice-Chancellor and Federal Commissioner for the Public Complaints Commission between 2012 and 2018. He was also a former chairman,College of Education,Ila Orangun,Osun State and former Dean,Faculty of Arts,University of Ilorin. He did his PhD in Arabic literature at the School of Oriental and African Studies,the University of London from 1977 to 1980 on Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan. He was National President of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria. He graduated with a first-class degree. He also served as professor of Arabic Language and Literature.
Shuaib Oba AbdulRaheem is a Nigerian academic and former vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin who served as chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC). He did his doctorate from University of Kent.
