Is Growing Faith (also occasionally referred to as White Fence Is Growing Faith) is a 2011 album by Tim Presley under the moniker White Fence. [1] The album was first released on January 18, 2011 through Woodist. Presley served as the album's primary artist and worked as the album's composer, engineer, and lyricist, as well as designing the album's artwork. Some vocals were performed by Emily Sills. [2]

Tim Presley is an American musician, singer and songwriter. Presley began his career playing with the hardcore punk bands Model American and The Nerve Agents. In 2004, Presley founded the psychedelic rock band Darker My Love. In 2006 he joined The Fall, playing on the LP Reformation Post TLC, and was an occasional guest musician on the band's later albums. Since 2010, Presley has released music under the name White Fence. As of August 2014, under that name, he has released six studio albums, two live albums, and collaborative albums with Ty Segall and Cate Le Bon.

Reception

Critical reception for Is Growing Faith has been mixed to positive and the album currently holds a rating of 71 on Metacritic , based upon 7 reviews. [4] Allmusic praised the album as a whole and remarked that it was "a good jumping-off spot for further psychedelic discovery". [5] Pitchfork Media also rated the album favorably and gave it an overall score of 7.4. [6]

Darker My Love psychedelic rock band

Darker My Love was a psychedelic rock band based in Los Angeles, California. Guitarist/vocalist Tim Presley, a former member of the hardcore punk band The Nerve Agents, formed the band in 2004 with drummer and former Nerve Agents bandmate Andy Granelli, then also of The Distillers. They were joined shortly thereafter by bass guitarist Rob Barbato, who shared songwriting and vocals with Presley, and rhythm guitarist Jared "The Sandwich" Everett. Will Canzoneri joined the band on organ and clavinet in the latter half of 2006. The band released three LPs and one EP. Presley is also a visual artist responsible for much of the band's imagery.

Murray has also toured with Mikal Cronin and The Growlers In late 2009, Murray joined The Young Veins and served as the drummer until the indefinite hiatus announced by bandmate Jon Walker on Twitter, December 10, 2010.

Joy is a collaborative album by Californian musicians Ty Segall and Tim Presley. It was released in July 2018 under Drag City Records.
