Issa Qaraqe (born;27 December 1961) is a Palestinian politician who has held various positions in the Palestinian Authority.
He was born on 27 December 1961,in the town of Aida,located in the West Bank. Qaraqi received his bachelor's degree from Bethlehem University and his master's degree in Arabic studies from Birzeit University. [1]
In 2006,Qaraqi was elected to the Palestinian Legislative Council. He served in this position until 2009 when he was appointed Minister of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs. He held this position until 2018,when he was replaced by Qadri Abu Bakr. [2]
In July 2021,Qaraqi was appointed as the President of the Palestinian National Library,replacing Ehab Bessaiso. [3]
Palestinian Christians are Christian citizens of the State of Palestine. Kamal Fouad Jumblatt was a Lebanese politician who founded the Progressive Socialist Party. He led the National Movement during the civil war against the Lebanese Front.
