Isaac Zico (born June 18, 1996) is an American professional football player who is a wide receiver for the Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL). He played college football at Purdue, and has also played for the Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL), and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
Zico played at Georgia Military College from 2015 to 2016. He transferred to Purdue in 2017 where he played for two years. Zico finished his collegiate career with 61 receptions for 1,242 yards and 19 touchdowns. [1]
After going undrafted in the 2019 NFL draft, Zico signed with the Tennessee Titans on April 27, 2019. [2] He was released on May 13, 2019.[ citation needed ]
On August 2, 2019, Zico was signed by the Arizona Cardinals. [3] He was released on August 31, 2019. [4]
On December 20, 2019, Zico was signed by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). [5] He was placed on the COVID-19 Opt-Out list in August 2020.
Zico played for the Lineman of The Spring League in 2021. They defeated the Jousters 26–23 to win the Mega Bowl where Zico caught two touchdown passes including the game winning 16 yard reception with 52 seconds remaining. [6] [7]
The Massachusetts Pirates of the Indoor Football League (IFL) acquired Zico in 2021 after the team ceased operations. [8] In 2022, Zico caught 38 receptions for 435 yards and 7 touchdowns. [6]
Taylor Evans Stubblefield is an American football coach and former player who is the wide receivers coach for the Air Force Falcons. He played professionally as a wide receiver for the Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He left Purdue University owning the most receptions in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) history. Stubblefield was most recently the wide receivers coach with the Toronto Argonauts. A three-sport athlete at A.C. Davis High School, Stubblefield committed to the Purdue University to play football for the Boilermakers. In his collegiate debut in 2001, he had five receptions for 65 yards. He led the team in receptions and was named to the All-Freshman Big Ten team by Sporting News. During his sophomore season, he finished with 77 receptions for 789 yards, but didn't record a touchdown catch. As a junior in 2003, Stubblefield earned second-team All-Big Ten honors at the conclusion of the season. In the 2001 Sun Bowl, he had nine catches for a Sun Bowl-record 196 yards. During the 2004 season, Stubblefield was a Biletnikoff Award finalist, earned first-team All-Big Ten honors and was named a consensus All-American.He concluded his college career with an NCAA record of 325 receptions, which he held for seven years, 3,629 yards, and 27 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Purdue Athletic Hall of Fame in 2015 and was also named to the 75th Anniversary Sun Bowl Team.
Romby Bryant is a former Canadian football wide receiver. Bryant spent the majority of his professional career playing for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. He was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Tulsa. He graduated from Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City in 1999.
Terrence Edwards is a former Canadian football wide receiver who played for nine seasons with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL).
