Isaak Phillips (born September 28, 2001) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract as a prospect to the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL).
Phillips was born in Barrie. He is of Afro-Vincentian and Finnish descent: his paternal grandparents were from St. Vincent, and his mother is Finnish. [1]
Phillips played major junior hockey for the Sudbury Wolves in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 5th round, 141st overall, during the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. [2] On March 31, 2021, the Blackhawks signed him to a three-year, entry-level contract. [3]
Phillips made his NHL debut on October 29, 2021, going pointless in a 6-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. [4] He appeared in four total games for the Blackhawks during the 2021-22 season while primarily playing for their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Rockford IceHogs. On January 14, 2023, Phillips scored his first career NHL goal during an 8-5 loss to the Seattle Kraken. [5]
On January 15, 2025, Phillips was traded to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Dmitry Kuzmin. [6]
Phillips represented Jamaica at the 2018 Team Elite Hockey Prospect Showcase, winning the tournament. Though he is not of Jamaican descent, the team included players of all West Indian backgrounds. [7]

Jay Harrison is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes and the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League.
Cameron Barker is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was selected third overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks and spent four seasons with the club before being traded to the Minnesota Wild in 2010. Internationally, Barker played for the Canadian national team and won back-to-back gold medals at the 2005 and 2006 World Junior Championships with the junior team.

Eddie Jan Läck is a Swedish former professional ice hockey goaltender. He serves as an assistant head coach of the Arizona State Sun Devils, and is also currently a real estate agent in the Scottsdale, Arizona region. Läck, a goaltender, played in Sweden for Leksands IF of the HockeyAllsvenskan and Brynäs IF of the Elitserien before moving to the National Hockey League (NHL) where he played for the Vancouver Canucks, Carolina Hurricanes, Calgary Flames and New Jersey Devils. After going undrafted in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, he signed as a free agent with the Vancouver Canucks in 2010. He was assigned to the Manitoba Moose in his first season with the Canucks organization and was named to the American Hockey League's 2010–11 All-Rookie Team.
