Isabel Posch (born 28 February 2000) is an Austrian multi-event athlete. She has won national indoor titles in the long jump and the pentathlon. [1]

Early life

From Voralberg, [2] she is member of TS Lustenau in Lustenau. [3]

Career

She became national indoor champion in the pentathlon in Linz in 2023 setting a new Austrian national record points tally, beating the previous record set by Chiara Schuler in 2022. [4] [5] At the same Austrian championships she won the national indoor title in the long jump with a distance of 6.14 metres. [6]

She went past 6000 points in the heptathlon for the first time at the Hypomeeting in Gotzis in May 2023, with her efforts including a 6.43m personal best in the long jump. [7] In August 2023, she won the heptathlon at the delayed 2021 Summer World University Games. Separately, she also reached the final of the women's long jump at the championships. [8] [9]

She retained her national indoors long jump title with a distance of 6.19 meters in Linz in February 2024. [10]

She was selected for the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. [11]

Enezaide do Rosário da Vera Cruz Gomes is a Portuguese retired athlete who competed primarily in long jump. She initially competed at international events as a representative of São Tomé and Príncipe before becoming a naturalised citizen of Portugal in 2001. Amid the forced repatriation and subsequent defection of Belarusian sprinter Krystsina Tsimanouskaya at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 2021, Maksimava announced that she and her husband would also not be returning to Belarus and would seek asylum in Germany, where the couple trains.

Brianne Theisen-Eaton is a retired Canadian track and field athlete who competed in the heptathlon and women's pentathlon. She won the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Theisen-Eaton holds the Canadian record for the heptathlon with 6,808 points, as well as the indoor pentathlon with a score of 4768 points. Theisen-Eaton is a heptathlon silver medallist from the 2013 World Championships and 2015 World Championships, as well as a pentathlon silver medalist from the 2014 World Indoor Championships. She is the first and only Canadian woman to podium in the multi-events at the World Championships. Theisen-Eaton won Commonwealth Games gold in the heptathlon at Glasgow 2014 and was the 2016 World Indoor Champion in the pentathlon.
