Nadiad is a city in the state of Gujarat,India and the administrative centre of the Kheda district. The city is managed by the Nadiad Municipality. It is known for the Santram Mandir,the Mai Mandir,the historic Swaminarayan temple built in 1824,and the Anand and Hari Om Ashram. Chakradhara,also known as Sarvadnya Shri Chakradhar Swami or Kunwar Haripaladeva was an Indian saint and philosopher,who is considered as an avatara of Krishna by his disciples and one of the most important exponents of the Dvaita tradition within Hinduism. He is the founder of Mahanubhava Sampradaya of Krishnaism. Shri Chakradhar Swami advocated worship of Lord Krishna and preached a distinct philosophy based on Bhakti. He did not recognize caste distinctions,and like Buddha had only two others viz the householder and recluses. Some sources claim that Chakrapani Prabhu and Govinda Prabhu as the originators of Mahanubhava doctrine and Chakradhara as the first apostle who systematized Mahanubhava as a school of Bhakti philosophy. Chakradhara's birth anniversary is observed on the Tithi of Bhadrapada Shukla Dwitiya.

Born in Vasai Dabhla,a small village in Mehsana district of Gujarat and did his studies in Sanskrit in Ahmedabad and Varanasi,Shastri chairs the Veda Centre,Pardi. He is known for contributions in interpreting Sanskrit grammar and literature and is a recipient of Gujarat State Award. The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri,in 2016,for his contributions to Literature and education.
The Sahityaratna,is a literary honour in Gujarat,India,conferred by Gujarat Sahitya Akademi and Government of Gujarat to the Gujarati authors for their significant contribution in Gujarati literature. Established in 2016,the award comprises a plaque,shawl and a cash prize of Rs. 1,51,000.
