Island Africa Talent is a television music competition franchise created by French producers Emmanuel Le Juez and Olivier Louyot to find new talents in African French countries. The winner of the show earns a contract with the African franchise of Universal Music Group along with 5 000 000 FCFA. The first series of the show aired on A+, a channel of the Canal + Africa Group and various local channel, from October 24 to December 12 of 2014.
Island Africa Talent is the first africanwide talent competition and was created to promote new African talents and to witness the creation of the African franchise of Universal Music Group. [1] Live shows stage took place in Yamoussoukro in Cote d'Ivoire and is watched nearly by 200 million people.

Auditions took place in the 12 participating countries ; selected one act to represent each country at the live shows.
During the Live Shows only the grades given by the judges determines the rankings, and during the first five weeks there are no eliminations. From week 5, the 3 contestants who received the lowest cumulative grade over the weeks are eliminated each week. Live Shows took place during seven weeks.

So You Think You Can Dance is a franchise of reality television shows in which contestants compete in dance. The first series of the franchise, created by Idols producers Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe, premiered in July 2005 and has broadcast seventeen seasons since. Adaptations of the show began airing in other countries in late 2005 and to date 30 localized adaptations have been produced, representing 41 different countries and comprising more than ninety individual seasons.
The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. The fourth season of American talent show competition series America's Got Talent was broadcast on NBC from June 23 to September 16, 2009. Following the previous season, Jerry Springer left the show due to other commitments, and was replaced as host by Nick Cannon. A number of changes were also made to the program before filming commenced, which included replacing the "boot camp" stage with a round similar in format to that used by Britain's Got Talent, and changing the buzzer format to match that being used by the Got Talent franchise. The winner is determined by the show's viewers via telephone, the Internet, and SMS text voting, and is awarded a recording contract with Cowell's record label Syco Music, worth $5 million in seasons one and two, and $1 million in season three. America voted for the following winners: Melanie Amaro, Tate Stevens, and Alex & Sierra, respectively.
The Voice UK is a British singing competition television series. Created by John de Mol, it premiered on BBC One during the spring television cycle on 24 March 2012. Based on the original The Voice of Holland, and part of The Voice franchise, it has aired eleven series and aims to find currently unsigned singing talent contested by aspiring singers, drawn from public auditions. The winners receive a recording contract with Universal Music Group. Winners of the eleven series have been: Leanne Mitchell, Andrea Begley, Jermain Jackman, Stevie McCrorie, Kevin Simm, Mo Adeniran, Ruti Olajugbagbe, Molly Hocking, Blessing Chitapa, Craig Eddie and Anthonia Edwards.

The third season of the South Korean reality television competition show K-pop Star premiered on SBS on November 24, 2013, airing Sunday evenings at 4:55 pm KST as part of the Good Sunday lineup. Jun Hyun-moo replaced Yoon Do-hyun as host and narrator, and Yoo Hye-young replaced Boom as live host. Yang Hyun-suk and Park Jin-young returned as judges. BoA was replaced by You Hee-yeol, as she was focusing on her music career instead. Changes to the format occurred, including the choice of company for debut made immediately on the live finale. The season ended on April 13, 2014, with Bernard Park crowned as winner and choosing to sign with JYP Entertainment.

Rising Star is an international singing reality competition television franchise based on the Israeli singing reality competition television series HaKokhav HaBa which is produced by Keshet Broadcasting Ltd. The program format lets viewers vote for contestants via mobile apps. It has become a rival to the Idols franchise, The Voice and The X Factor.
