Ismail Jussa Ladhu (born 18 August 1971) is a Zanzibari ACT Wazalendo politician serving the Stonetown constituency in the Zanzibar House of Representatives. He also served as a member of the Tanzanian Parliament in 2010 after being nominated by President Jakaya Kikwete. [1] [2]

Indians have a long history in Tanzania starting with the arrival of Gujarati traders. They came to gradually control the trade in Zanzibar. Many of the buildings constructed then still remain in Stone Town, the focal trading point on the island.

2015 Tanzanian general election General election in Tanzania

General elections were held in Tanzania on 25 October 2015. Voters elected the president, members of Parliament, and local government councillors. By convention, the election was held on the last Sunday of October and was supervised by the National Electoral Commission (NEC).
