Israeli Salad is the first instrumental studio album by producer and musician The Alchemist. The album is a concept album, based almost entirely on Israeli samples. The album was produced entirely by the Alchemist, and was released through his own ALC Records on May 26, 2015.
The Alchemist's father is an Israeli businessman. After record shopping in Israel while visiting there, in a 2012 Billboard interview, [1] Alchemist stated that he planned on creating an instrumental album with all Israeli samples. The project really developed much later, and he announced it in late March 2015.
Like other albums by The Alchemist, Israeli Salad is an instrumental hip hop album consisting of beats and audio collages. The album has many samples and recordings in Hebrew; additionally some of the song names contain Hebrew phrases (eg. "Shalom Alechem", "Chetzi") and Israeli cultural references. Some of the beats in the album were used before on songs produced by The Alchemist. For example, "The Type" was the beat of a song of the same title, featuring Prodigy on Curren$y and Alchemist's album Covert Coup , "Bold" was on Boldy James and Alchemist's album My 1st Chemistry Set , and more.

Dilated Peoples is an American Los Angeles-based hip hop trio, composed of rapper and record producer Evidence, rapper Rakaa, and Beat Junkies deejay and record producer DJ Babu. The group is better known in the UK, where they reached the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart with two tracks, "This Way" and "Worst Comes to Worst". Their songs were featured in the 2003 video games Need for Speed: Underground and NBA Street Vol. 2, as well as MLB 06: The Show.
Doggystyle is the debut studio album by American rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg. It was released on November 23, 1993, by Death Row and Interscope Records. The album was recorded and produced following Snoop Doggy Dogg's appearances on Dr. Dre's debut solo album The Chronic (1992), to which Snoop contributed significantly. The West Coast style in hip-hop that he developed from Dre's first album continued on Doggystyle. Critics have praised Snoop Dogg for the lyrical "realism" that he delivers on the album and for his distinctive vocal flow.
Enigma is a German musical project founded in 1990 by Romanian-German musician and producer Michael Cretu. Cretu had released several solo records, collaborated with various artists, and produced albums for his then-wife, German pop singer Sandra, before he conceived the idea of a new-age, worldbeat project. He recorded the first Enigma studio album, MCMXC a.D. (1990), with contributions from David Fairstein and Frank Peterson. The album remains Enigma's most successful, helped by the international hit single "Sadeness ", which sold twelve million units alone. According to Cretu, the inspiration for the creation of the project came from his desire to make a kind of music that did not obey "the old rules and habits" and presented a new form of artistic expression with mystic and experimental components.

Tha Carter is the fourth studio album by American rapper Lil Wayne. It was released on June 29, 2004, by Cash Money Records and Universal Records. "Got It Twisted" is the first single from Mobb Deep's 2004 album Amerikaz Nightmare. Produced by The Alchemist, the song samples the 1980s hit "She Blinded Me With Science" by Thomas Dolby. Big Noyd, Infamous Mobb, Jayo Felony, Kurupt, Illa Ghee, The Alchemist, DJ Felli Fel, and actor Danny Trejo are featured in the music video. There is also a remix which features Twista.
Kejuan Waliek Muchita, better known by his stage name Havoc, is an American rapper and record producer. He was one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep with Prodigy.
Hip hop production is the creation of hip hop music in a recording studio. "Nas Is Like" is the first single from Nas' third album I Am.... The song is the sixth collaboration between Nas and producer DJ Premier. Based in Atlanta, he is recognized in the music industry for his aggressive, trap-infused production work for prominent hip hop artists. His association with hometown rapper Waka Flocka Flame led Luellen to sign to his label Brick Squad Monopoly, an imprint of Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, as in-house talent in 2010. Luellen and labelmate, fellow producer Lex Luger established the production team 808 Mafia that same year, who were credited on several commercially successful releases throughout the remaining decade.
