Issak Sibhatu (born 12 March 1989) is an Eritrean long-distance runner who specializes in the 5000 metres and cross-country running.
He was born in Adiblay. As a junior, he competed in the junior races at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, finishing sixth in 2007 and sixteenth in 2008. He finished fifth in the 3000 metres at the 2005 World Youth Championships. [1]
As a senior, he finished 24th at the 2009 World Cross Country Championships. [1] The Eritrean team took bronze medals in the team competition; however Sibhatu's placement was too low to count in the team points. [2]
His personal best times are 3:39.71 minutes in the 1500 metres, achieved in July 2008 in Madrid; 8:07.34 minutes in the 3000 metres, achieved in May 2005 in Arusha; and 13:24.10 minutes in the 5000 metres, achieved in June 2009 in Lugano. [1]

Samuel Tsegay Tesfamriam is an Eritrean long-distance runner running for the Swedish track club Hälle IF and currently going through the process of acquiring Swedish citizenship, who specializes in the 5000 metres and 10,000 metres. He was born in Eritrea. As a junior, he competed in the junior races at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, finishing seventeenth in 2005, eighth in 2006 and eighth in 2007. He finished fourth in the 10,000 metres at the 2006 World Junior Championships.
Samson Kiflemariam Gashazghi is an Eritrean long-distance runner who specializes in the 5000 metres, cross-country running, but as mountain runner he won 2010 World Mountain Running Championships.
Hamid Ezzine is a Moroccan long-distance runner who specialized in the 3000 metres steeplechase. He is a younger brother of the Olympic runner Ali Ezzine. He finished twelfth in the 5000 metres at the 2002 World Junior Championships, but then turned to the steeplechase. He finished fourth at the 2004 African Championships, won the gold medal at the 2005 Jeux de la Francophonie, finished fifth at the 2006 African Championships and eleventh at the 2007 World Athletics Final. He also competed at the 2005 World Championships, the 2007 World Championships and the 2008 Olympic Games without reaching the final.

Vernon competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the men's 10,000 metres. He has also competed in two Commonwealth Games, a World Indoor Championship and six World Cross Country Championships. Vernon is a two-time European Athletics Championship medallist and a Summer Universiade gold medallist. He currently competes for Aldershot, Farnham & District AC.
