Mohammed Gammoudi Tunisian athlete

Mohammed Tlili ben Abdallah, also known as Moham(m)ed Gammoudi, is a Tunisian athlete who competed as a long distance runner in international track and field competitions. He represented Tunisia in the Tokyo, Mexico City, and Munich Olympiads and recorded four medals, including a gold medal in the 5000 metres event in Mexico City. Gammoudi was also competitive at 10,000 metres.

1967 Mediterranean Games

The V Mediterranean Games – Tunis 1967, commonly known as the 1967 Mediterranean Games, were the 5th Mediterranean Games. The Games were held in Tunis, Tunisia over 9 days, from 8 to 17 September 1967, where 1,249 athletes from 11 countries participated. For the first time, women took part in the games. There were a total of 93 medal events from 14 different sports.

Mohamed Salah Marmouri is a retired amateur boxer from Tunisia. He represented his native North African country twice at the Summer Olympics: in 1996 and 2000. He won a bronze medal at the 2001 Mediterranean Games in Tunis, Tunisia and a gold medal at the 1995 All-Africa Games in Harare, Zimbabwe. Gold médial au jeux medetarrannée Bari 1997.

El Menzah Sport Palace is an indoor sports arena situated in El Menzah, a district in the north of Tunis. It is located in the heart of the Olympic City of El Menzah, near the Stade El Menzah.

Tennis has been contested at every Mediterranean Games since its introduction to the program at the 1963 Mediterranean Games. The 1975 Mediterranean Games were the last games with tennis as a male only event — beginning with the 1979 Mediterranean Games, women's tennis is included in the program.

Luigi Cimnaghi

Luigi Cimnaghi is an Italian sports administrator and retired gymnast. He competed at the 1964 and 1968 Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and finished in 4th and 12th place with the Italian team, respectively. His best individual result was 14th place on the parallel bars in 1964. He won gold medals with the Italian team at the 1963 and 1967 Mediterranean Games, as well as four individual medals in 1967: two silvers, on the parallel bars and vault, and two bronze medals, all-around and on the horizontal bar.
