Dangriga, formerly known as Stann Creek Town, is a town in southern Belize, located on the Caribbean coast at the mouth of the North Stann Creek River. It is the capital of Belize's Stann Creek District. Dangriga is served by the Dangriga Airport. Commonly known as the "culture capital of Belize" due to its influence on punta music and other forms of Garifuna culture, Dangriga is the largest settlement in southern Belize.

Clive Palmer's United Australia Party, formerly known as the United Australia Party (UAP) and Palmer United Party (PUP), is an Australian political party formed by mining magnate Clive Palmer in April 2013. It was deregistered by the Australian Electoral Commission in 2017, but revived and re-registered in 2018. It brands itself as a revival of the original United Australia Party, which had been the main non-Labor federal party from 1931 to 1945. However, it was known as the Palmer United Party from May 2013 until it was briefly deregistered.
General elections were held in Belize on 4 November 2015 to elect members of the House of Representatives. The Belize Green Independent Party (BGIP) is an ecologist political party in Belize. Founded in 2012, BGIP has yet to win a seat in the Belize House or a municipal election at the city or town level. BGIP is one of the few Green parties in the world unafilliated with the Global Greens.
The next Belizean general election will elect members of the country's House of Representatives. It will be held on 1 November 2020.
