Ivan Tauferer (born 26 January 1995) is a retired Italian professional ice hockey player, who last played for HC Bolzano in the Austrian Hockey League; he also played for the Italian national team.

He represented Italy at the 2019 IIHF World Championship. [1]

Tauferer retired at the end of the 2021-2022 season due to a wrist injury. [2]

After being traded to the Ottawa Senators in March 2000 and sitting out the 2000–01 season, his final two seasons were split playing for the Carolina Hurricanes, Toronto Maple Leafs, and St. Louis Blues. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009.
