Ivan Trendafilov was a Bulgarian footballer. He played in three matches for the Bulgaria national football team in 1950. [1] He was also part of Bulgaria's squad for the 1952 Summer Olympics, but he did not play in any matches. [2]

Manol Manolov was a Bulgarian football defender and manager. He was born in Sofia. Manolov featured in 57 games for the Bulgaria national football team and won a bronze medal at the 1956 Summer Olympics. Between 1948 and 1962 he played in 239 matches and scored 8 goals for CSKA Sofia. He was honoured as Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1958. Manolov won the top Bulgarian league, the A PFG, a record twelve times, as well as the Bulgarian Cup, four times. He coached Beroe, CSKA Sofia, Hebar Pazardzhik, Ethnikos Piraeus, Apollon Athens, Slavia and Panserraikos.

The 1977–80 Balkan Cup, was the 12th Balkan Cup football tournament. It was the first to have a group stage involving the five teams split into two groups, one of three teams and the other of two, with the winner of each one meeting in the final. It was played between February 1977 and August 1980 between Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia and Greece. The tournament was won by Romania the general score being 4–3 against Yugoslavia in the two legs of the final. The top goalscorer was Anghel Iordănescu from Romania with 6 goals.
