Ivane III Abuletisdze was a Georgian feudal lord of the Abuletisdze family. He was Amirspasalar of Georgia from 1260 to 1272. [1]

South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands (SGSSI) is a British Overseas Territory in the southern Atlantic Ocean. It is a remote and inhospitable collection of islands,consisting of South Georgia and a chain of smaller islands known as the South Sandwich Islands. South Georgia is 165 kilometres (103 mi) long and 35 kilometres (22 mi) wide and is by far the largest island in the territory. The South Sandwich Islands lie about 700 kilometres (430 mi) southeast of South Georgia. The territory's total land area is 3,903 km2 (1,507 sq mi). The Falkland Islands are about 1,300 kilometres (810 mi) west from its nearest point.

It is the official language of Georgia and the native or primary language of 87.6% of its population. Its speakers today amount to approximately four million. Georgian is written in its own unique alphabet.
South Ossetia,officially the Republic of South Ossetia or the State of Alania,is a partially recognised landlocked state in the South Caucasus. Georgia became one of the pre-eminent nations of the Christian East and its pan-Caucasian empire and network of tributaries stretching from Eastern Europe to Anatolia and northern frontiers of Iran,while also maintaining religious possessions abroad,such as the Monastery of the Cross in Jerusalem and the Monastery of Iviron in Greece. It was the principal historical precursor of present-day Georgia.
Amirspasalar or amirspasalari was the commander-in-chief of the medieval Georgian army and one of the highest officials of the Kingdom of Georgia,commonly rendered as "Lord High Constable" in English. It is composed of amir,an Arabic term meaning 'commander','governor',or 'prince';and sipahsalar,from the Persian for 'army commander'.
Abuletisdze was a Georgian noble family –eristavs –with its most prominent members in the 12th and 13th century. The family held appanages in the valleys of Aragvi and Tedzami in the eastern province of Kakheti.
The 2008 Russo-Georgian War was a war between Russia,alongside the Russian-backed self-proclaimed republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia,and Georgia. The war took place in August following a diplomatic crisis between Russia and Georgia,both formerly constituent republics of the Soviet Union. The fighting took place in the strategically important South Caucasus region. It is regarded as the first European war of the 21st century.
The nation of Georgia was first unified as a kingdom under the Bagrationi dynasty by the King Bagrat III of Georgia in the early 11th century,arising from a number of predecessor states of the ancient kingdoms of Colchis and Iberia. The Kingdom of Georgia flourished during the 10th to 12th centuries under King David IV the Builder and Queen Tamar the Great,and fell to the Mongol invasion by 1243,and after a brief reunion under George V the Brilliant to the Timurid Empire. By 1490,Georgia was fragmented into a number of petty kingdoms and principalities,which throughout the Early Modern period struggled to maintain their autonomy against Ottoman and Iranian domination until Georgia was finally annexed by the Russian Empire in the 19th century. After a brief period of independence as Democratic Republic of Georgia,the country soon ended up being a Soviet republic until the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The current republic of Georgia has been independent since 1991.
Abkhazia,officially the Republic of Abkhazia,is a partially recognised state in the South Caucasus,on the eastern coast of the Black Sea,at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. It covers 8,665 square kilometres (3,346 sq mi) and has a population of around 245,000. Its capital and largest city is Sukhumi.

The Virgin Mary Assumption Church of Metekhi,known simply as Metekhi,is a Georgian Orthodox Christian church located on the left bank of the river Kura. It sits on the Metekhi Cliff opposite the old town of Tbilisi. Much of the existing structure dates back to the Middle Ages and was built between 1278 and 1289 AD under the reign of King Demetrius II of Georgia,although oral tradition traces Metekhi's origins further to the 5th century.
