Ivanna Yastremska is a Ukrainian junior tennis player. She is the younger sister of professional player Dayana Yastremska.
Ivanna won two singles matches in 2021; against Yelyzaveta Sylka at the Ukrainian Junior Open (in June), and against Alina Kornieieva at the Aizenshtadt Memorial tournament in August. She is yet to win a match on the ITF Junior Circuit, ITF Women's Circuit, or the WTA Tour.
Yastremska made her WTA main draw debut at the 2022 WTA Lyon Open in the doubles draw partnering her sister Dayana. They also featured in the Indian Wells Masters later in the year.
Yastremska is the younger sister of fellow tennis player Dayana. During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Yastremska sisters fled the country through Romania and escaped to France, sheltering in a hotel in Lyon. The sisters were awarded a main draw wildcard into the doubles draw at the 2022 WTA Lyon Open. [2] [3] Their parents and other family members stayed behind in Ukraine.

The 2022 WTA Lyon Open was a women's tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It was the third edition of the Lyon Open (WTA) and an International tournament on the 2022 WTA Tour. It took place at the Palais des Sports de Gerland in Lyon, France, from February 28th to March 6th, 2022. During this tournament, the WTA and other international governing bodies of tennis including the ATP did not have players of Russia and Belarus compete under their country's flags as a result of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Zhang Shuai defeated wildcard Dayana Yastremska in the final, 3–6, 6–3, 6–4 to win the Singles title at the 2022 WTA Lyon Open. It was her first title since 2017. Yastremska was participating in her first event since fleeing her native country of Ukraine due to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Xu Yifan and Yang Zhaoxuan defeated Asia Muhammad and Ena Shibahara in the final, 7–5, 7–6(7–4) to win the women's doubles tennis title at the 2022 Indian Wells Masters. They became the first all-Chinese team to win a WTA 1000-level title.
