Izabel Rosa Pereira (born 13 October 1910) is a Brazilian supercentenarian who, since the death of Inah Canabarro Lucas on 30 April 2025, [1] is the oldest living Brazilian person. [2] Her age is validated by LongeviQuest, [3] although the Gerontology Research Group is currently in the process of validating her case. [4]
Izabel Rosa Pereira was born in 1910 near Caputira in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and has spent her entire life there. [5] [6] She had five siblings. In 1934, Izabel Rosa Pereira married Antônio José Pereira, and had twelve children together, nine of whom were still alive in February 2024. [7] She was widowed on 3 April 2001. [8]
